Anita Palenburg famously wore Vaseline as makeup

Anita Pallenburg in Barbarella

Really stunning

Here she has created a glow look with Vaseline

Anita Pallenburg deciding to stay young as she ages

We need some tight-fitting clothes again so we can stay young-looking, she looks great here. She got a fashion degree, shame she isn’t running the fashion industry. As far as I know from pre covid famous people sizing she is 5ft4. I’m not as slim as her but if she is size 6, I would be able to get into the size 8 or size 10 size of these trousers. As soon as fashion that fits Western women comes back I’m going to stockpile trousers, leggings, underwear, suits, and so forth.

If you are petite or tall you would just opt for these trousers in S or L, I’m average height so I would opt for R.

Anita is brilliant at fashion she invented the Keith Richards look, which has to be one of the most iconic Rock star looks ever.

luckily I remembered this and realised I could wear Vaseline as makeup until the post is sorted and shops start delivering parcels again. Guess people just want their jobs back as well so they have a pension. Boots used to be one of the most sought-after retail jobs, so there must be some annoyed normal women out there wanting their jobs back. I class myself as normal, what I mean is somebody who isn’t famous and lives in the real world. Sorry if I sound angry but real people don’t have a voice or platform like X, so just starting to piece together what a hard time people have been going through during the crap covid years. We have had a really shitty time too. I’m having to lose weight to fit back into my old clothes. Can’t get any new ones in my size. What I’m wearing is falling apart. And I have put weight on as we can’t access healthy food or exercise clothes or trainers. Luckily discovered healthy chef and tinned, frozen, and packet food which is healthy, would prefer fresh lean meat, fish, fresh pasta, stir fry, and so forth, but we gave up on that as British supermarkets got stocked with vegan readymeals instead which tasted awful.

Sorted!!

Just found out Sainsburies stocks Vaseline

Not sure exactly how to do this look, but if you can’t get makeup at the moment due to postal incompetence, this tip is a godsend.

smothered my whole face in it last night.

Know where to get more from if it runs out.

Again it is a pre covid famous name brand.

Putting some on my lips as lip balm

and then using it on my eyelashes again – forgot that trick.

Great if you can’t get eyelash serum due to postal incompetence at the top.

How to Make Eyelashes Longer with Vaseline

If you want long, lush lashes, you might want to reach for the Vaseline in your medicine cabinet before dropping money on more expensive products. While Vaseline might not make your lashes grow longer, it can hydrate them and make them appear thicker. It may also help prevent lash breakage, which can make your lashes appear longer. Vaseline is super hydrating, pretty budget-friendly, and typically safe on sensitive skin, so it’s definitely worth a shot if you want your lashes to look healthier and fuller.

Things You Should Know

part 1

  • Dab away any leftover mascara from your wand and clean the bristles with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Warm up the Vaseline between your fingers and apply a lot of product to the wand.
  • Apply the Vaseline directly to your upper and lower lashes before you go to bed.
  • Rinse off the Vaseline with water when you wake up, or use a cleanser if it’s difficult to remove.

Part2

Applying the Vaseline

Remove any makeup. Wash any makeup off of your eyes and lashes. This will make it easier for the Vaseline to work its magic.

Mix the Vaseline. Using your clean finger, move the top layer of Vaseline around. This will warm it up and make it easier to apply.

Dip your wand in the Vaseline. You want to get a heavy amount of Vaseline on your wand. It has a tendency to clump onto the front of the brush. If this happens, simply use a damp paper towel to help spread it evenly down your wand.

Apply to your lower lash line. Dip your wand back in the Vaseline. Being careful, once again, to not get the Vaseline in your eyes, apply it to your bottom lashes.

Your lashes will clump together when you apply the Vaseline. However, be careful not to put on too much or it will end up all over your face and sheets. You should use enough to coat your eyelashes evenly in one thin coat.

Let it sit. If you apply this every night, the Vaseline will moisturize your lashes and prevent breakage. The conditioning qualities will help prolong the cycle of each eyelash, and your lashes will look fuller and healthier.

Wash it off in the morning. When you wake up, wash the Vaseline off. If you have trouble getting the Vaseline off of your eyelashes, try using a cleanser. Because it’s oil-based, water might not be enough. Use your regular make-up routine during the day. If you do this consistently, you can see results in as little as three days!

Wow really clever!!!

conclusion

Hope this inspires you if you are struggling to get hold of makeup. Experiment with the glow look first before you go out in it. The last time I tried it my mascara ran into it and I looked more like Alice Cooper, another iconic rock star look, but not the look I was going for.

Alice Cooper deciding not to get old

What happens if you mix mascara with vaseline if you don’t know what you are doing.

This is why we need gurus back in my humble opinion.

If you want this look just realised it might be a tip you are looking for. I don’t suit this, but it could get your smoky eye look to work better.

I’m going to surf the net for tips.

Highly recommend the lip gloss and eyelash tip, I just rub it on my eyelashes, but the wand idea is really clever.

Have fun!!!
