Purchasing Scaramouche

As there was a free version I obviously started watching that.

The film went down part way through and I realised I did want to purchase it.

I wanted a colour version though.

Luckily it had a trailer that showed the film to be colour and it is.

I think this is harder to sell than Hitchcock as I’m not sure who the market is?

From my point of view as a consumer I purchased it for the style in the film; it reminds me of some Laura Ashley fabric I once purchased, that I loved and also a lamp from childhood that must of been passed down the family.

The lamp was probably mass made at the time of this film and was like Cinderella’s coach.

(Might double up as pantomime for christmas.)

I love this romantic side of the 50’s and how a lot of 50’s style was inspired by the era of this film.

The film is £7.99 which I wasn’t sure about.

I really wanted this film personally so purchased it.

There were a lot of other 50’s films under it so might purchase a different one next year.

Have to confess to being a bit of a romantic so it obviously appeals to women who love romantic and historic romantic fiction.

The gypsy helped to inspire my fashion look last year so it has created a bit of memory for me.

Conclusion

Will have to review the film if it is worth £7.99 for next year.

It will take a while but I could slowly rebuild film blogging with this idea.

Hope it inspires you if you are a film blogger too and not sure how to go on under the new legislation.

I’ve bought films for years so this already my hobby anyway.

Was playing around with share button and got the link below:

Must admit I’d read the book.

I think this is definately a new way to go with film blogging will just have to feel my way around it.

Would love to blog public domain film photos and use it to inspire party looks, makeup, fashion manicures and so forth.

This one might inspire interior design.

Will always like films so what I’ve curated so far on Pinterest will come in if life goes back to normal for those weekends when you are stuck for something to do.

This looks like a possible doorway into hundreds of films I’ve never seen or forgotten.

Quite excited.

Will add the review to the 50’s party.
