Noticed 70’s slimming is trending at the moment, have decided to do a modern take on 70’s slimming in the February health farm.
They had a lot of convenience food so decided to go in this trending direction.
I tried the no salt and sugar diet and got nowhere except ill so worth a try.

Sunday Dinner Ideas
(we get this from Sainsbury’s but all supermarkets do a version)
Melon and slimline gin Aperitif
We have switched to gin and slim with an opies lemon slice and ice.
I feel less bloated than on Sherry ~ saving Sherry for our one day off a week treat.
(This is a bit sketchy this week, but there are 4 different ideas for you to play around with)
If you can’t get salad potatoes where you are opt for diet chips.
You can have it as a side dish with Chicken or Mediterranean Fish such as pan fried or griddled Tuna.
Gives Chicken and Chips a summery flavour.
Highly recommed Sainsburys corn fed chicken. You can eat it on it’s own with chips (weigh the chips if you are slimming) and salad as it tasted gorgeous.
This is a great meal option idea if you are slimming, the spritzer idea makes a small bottle go further. Having tinned fruit for dessert will save you more calories, you could do the low fat cream idea agian till christmas. Or get yourself into gear for Dry January.

As it is the weekend you can serve it with a wine ~ Sainsbury’s has little notes by each wine telling you what it goes with. An Italian Wine would be nice with this recipe.

spagetthi bolognese
(If you want slimming spagetthi bolognese just swap quorn mince with beef mince and use the same recipe ~ follow the packet guidelines ~ I think quorn mince cooks faster. It was actually invented for meat eaters to loose weight not for vegans. You obviously would get an Italian Red Wine to go with this ~ enjoy)
You can follow this recipe or change the mince with Quorn mince.
Worth a try if you are trying to loose weight.
(Then if M & S slimming garlic bread comes back you can serve with that)

I’ve got a few pounds I’d like to loose so will load up what I get.
Found an old pair of size 8 pre covid trousers I can’t button up, so writing Margo’s slimming products into February Health farm ~ need to loose two inches at least round my waist.
I’m starting the slimming products after the 70’s party as you may experience lack of hunger at the wrong time.
Never take whilst ill.
Start off with one a week or one a month if you aren’t sure what will happen.
Just do whatever you choose for a month then throw away anything left.
I did slimming pills once and they worked but just used them for a month so didn’t get hooked.
I did the metabolism tea before christmas and it got me off Sherry and back on 2 glasses of wine and gin again.
I will load up what I order and start product testing in February Health Farm.
We will be marching again in March so will loose weight from the lighter days coming back anyway.
(If you need to loose some weight and inches too join in the February workout, horrible to admit but might as well do something about it.)

Billion Dollar Brain is a 1967 British ‘Len Deighton’ Cold War espionage drama thriller film.
