I’ve purchased these soap bag/vanity case gifts from soap and Glory since I first discovered them. The product works well on my sensitive skin, I love the aesthetic graphics and it is exceptional value for money.

Will be watching for their Christmas Gifts next year and hopefully purchase the Advent Calendar again.

Think it depends what products you need to replace in stock ~ I always get their gift sets like these every year ~ love them.

Another tip I’ve worked out with Advent Calendars is to go for ones that will keep you stocked up with essential products till February due to post covid badly stocked shops and January post.

This year I actually managed to stock up using the essential tip further down this blog, in that case you could opt for a non essential product one.

Guess you sort of shop around for advent calendars and what the format is like the Benefit shopping basket last year ~ love it. Benefit was just cardboard this year and I still had the makeup from last year.

Started using this before the facial.

Got great hopes for this as love the mood boosting grapefruit fragrance and really need to exfoliate dry areas of my face on a daily basis.

As I don’t go out anymore sunburn isn’t really a concern. Have to laugh as it is a really dark grey day today anyway.

I guess this is a winter product, I won’t use this in summer.

Need to be aware it could irratate me.

Hope it doesn’t as it is just what I need.

Love the design and colour of the product matches my Lancome skincare routine really well.

How to use

Simply wet the Cleansing Pad, apply cleanser directly and gently swipe all over face to remove make-up, excess oil and daily grime. Wash with soap and water after every use and hang to dry, or put in the mesh bag and wash in the washing machine.

These are bigger than you would guess they were.

Think I will use these for gentle cleasing products, wash by hand and dry overnight.

Probably won’t use them for mud masks and so forth.

Have to be honest about this as fed up of pretending everything is allright when it isn’t.

I’ve used these type of sheet masks for years, but during covid the size and shape of all face masks changed.

There was no way this would fit my face.

My only problem area is my nose so I broke up the mask into pieces and just put it on my nose area.

I wouldn’t re purchase this.

It is easier to just use a mud mask from a tube.

How to use

Ensure skin is clean and dry before use. Open the foil and remove the thin film. Place over the face, remove the second thin film. Smooth and gently pat down, allowing the jelly juice to infuse onto the skin. Leave on for 20 -30 minutes then just chill and relax.To remove, gently peel off and massage in any remaining jelly to help it absorb into the skin. Do not rinse or clean face after use.

I can’t use these types of masks as they are in two halves that don’t fit my face.

The bottom half fitted my cheeks but I need to depuff this area not plump.

The top part I tried to put just on my forehead but it fell off.

Fed up of struggling with these new mask sizes so decided to throw the mask and do an honest review.

Unless I find a make of sheet masks that are pre covid sizings I’m not going to bother struggling with them anymore.

I need to cut down on stress so this is one stressful problem solved.

I’m just going to get face masks in tubs and tubes until anything changes.

They are a bit like the comedy apps maybe?

I expected it to be a normal sheet mask but it’s gel. It comes in two halves (eyes and mouth). Due to it being gel it’s incredibly difficult to apply and keep in place. I wouldn’t buy again due to that

The mask was too big for my mouth so wasn’t sure.

As I was irratated by the face mask was expecting it to fall off.

The mask stayed where it was.

When I took it off there was a glow around my lips.

It doesn’t get rid of dry skin you would need to sugar scrub them before applying this.

If you aren’t brilliant at makeup this creates an outline to follow with your lip liner.

You also get a pout look.

I love these.

You sort of need a big stash.

If you do it every week it might sort out dry lips.

It gets rid of lines too if that is your concern.

This makes up for the facial sheet masks.

Conclusion

Wonder if they should make a nose patch.

You could do under eyes, nose and lips without is slippery sliding off.

You used to get nose patches for pores.

As so many people are moaning why don’t all the companies get rid of the comedy mask shapes and bring back the post covid mask sizes.

Miss face masks that fit properly as much as fashion that fits properly.

Why face masks are supposed to be comedy I don’t know?

Spa and pamper days have nothing to do with comedy.

After moaning on I’m happy with most of my facial products and will repurchase quite a lot of this.
