Really enjoying these challenges as it makes you commit to looking after yourself.
If you like these too for the same reason and also the results I’m working out a system to do more of these next year for you.
I like how they sponsor workouts and become a tried and tested project that works and are easy to access.
I don’t make any money out of them, any money goes to the workout leaders and product retailers.
I just want my life back how it was and this is helping me; really glad if I’m helping women like me too ~ enjoying being part of the women helping women scheme.
Day seven review
I already know Aveeno works as when ever I get dry skin this is my go to brand.
Was interested to do this challenge as it is their firming product.
Quite like that it firms and gets rid of dryness.
Added this challenge to my daily yoga with Barbara Currie Yoga Journal.
(You obviously switch to Aveeno during the challenge.)
I’m getting results from slimming calendar also so which segment is doing what isn’t always that obvious to work out.
Applying Aveeno
Found a technique for applying firming cream in my L’Occitane Calendar, (would like to do a challenge for you with their firming lotion in 2026.)
1. After cleansing, warm a small amount of the product in your hands.
2. Massage into the skin with slow, circular movements, always working from your ankles up.
3. Remember to focus on areas you wish to tighten and firm, such as your thighs and stomach area.
BUTTOCK MASSAGE
1. Massage with firm alternate hand strokes, from the bottom of your buttocks to your lower back.
2. Massage with upward circular movements from the outer side of your buttocks to the centre.
3. Repeat until the product has been completely absorbed into your skin.
STOMACH MASSAGE
1. Massage the product onto your stomach using clockwise, circular massages, then side-to-side movements.
2. Repeat until the product has been completely absorbed into your skin.
WAIST MASSAGE
1. Massage the product onto your lower back and waist using upward circular movements.
2. Move slowly from the outer side of your waist to the centre.
3. Repeat until the product has been completely absorbed into your skin.
ARM MASSAGE
1. Wrap your hand over your opposite arm and massage with strong, kneading movements from your elbows to your shoulders.
2. Lift up your arm, and with the opposite hand, massage from your elbow to your armpit (concentrating on the back of the arms where circulation is minimal.
3. Repeat until the product has been completely absorbed into your skin
I’m starting to see an improvement round my waist area.
Haven’t massaged there before ~ just my stomach and cellulite.
I think this is known as the trunk area.
Hopefully your waist is the first to firm then maybe the whole trunk area lifts upwards.
I have seen improvement in dryness but knew I would, my worst area for dryness is neck, elbows and knees.
For my lower leg areas I use Aveeno spray as I don’t need to firm there.

I found I need to massage this in a bit after application.
Conclusion
Really enjoyed this challenge, as with all the challenges.
This is a great product for winter dryness created by heating or winter weather and so forth.
The challenge also works as in winter we tend to want to cuddle up in cosy comfort and not do much.
On days I’ve felt like that this challenge made me brace myself and apply the cold cream. It makes you feel exhilarated.
To make the cream less cold rub it in your hands a bit first to warm it up.
The massage and daily yoga journal helps you to stand up tall rather than hunch into a cosy comfort cuddle.
Have to admit cosy comfort is lovely for rest periods and so forth, but you have to actively balance that with fitness and focus.
Hope you enjoyed this challenge or it inspires you to try it.
