Movie of the week

This is what happens if you drink everything from the drinks cabinet in one go lol!!!
Got some Martini left from one of the weekends.
Below is the recipe if you drink in moderation.
A Martini is a cocktail typically made with gin (or vodka) and dry vermouth, garnished with an olive or a lemon twist. To make one, stir the ingredients with ice until very cold, then strain into a chilled glass and add the garnish, releasing the lemon’s oils if using a twist. Preferences for a Martini are highly personal, varying the ratio of gin to vermouth, the base spirit, and the type of garnish used.
Key Components
- Base Spirit: Gin is the traditional choice, but vodka is a popular alternative.
- Vermouth: Dry vermouth adds flavor and balance to the drink.
- Garnish: Common garnishes are a lemon twist (a piece of lemon peel) or an olive.
How to Make a Classic Martini
- Chill: A chilled martini cocktail glass is essential.
- Combine: In a mixing glass, combine gin (or vodka), dry vermouth, and a few dashes of bitters if desired.
- Stir: Add ice to the mixing glass and stir well until the mixture is very cold.
- Strain: Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.
- Garnish: Squeeze the oil from a lemon peel over the drink, or drop in an olive.

Did this fashion idea during covid
Still haven’t found this dress. Really like it.
It goes back to fashion that fitted tall models but filtered down to average height women and fitted them too.
Hope this idea comes back as it means all women can have fashion again or more importantly in 2025, ‘actually’ have clothes and underwear again.
Don’t know about you but I’m running out of my old clothes and underwear, surely someone will have to sort this out soon.

This weekend it is vodka blush, Steak and gateau or chocolate mousse ~ my favourite dinner option.
Got a diet recipe for this somewhere, that I got from an online site pre the fat acceptance movement. Will add it if my life ever improves. Was really nice.

In waning winter light, a doll maker works in his shop, a kerosene lamp beside him, a jumble of dolls and doll parts, whole and broken, surrounding him. There are noises, too: a cuckoo clock chirps the workday’s end. The artisan completes a repair and leaves, shuttering the shop from outside. Back inside, whispering begins. What else is in store for the shop’s seemingly lifeless denizens?

A small and thin barefoot slave (played by Polanski) plays a flute and beats a drum to entertain his large master who rocks in a rocking chair in front of his mansion. The slave jumps and leaps like a madman, wipes his master’s brow, feeds him, washes his feet, shades him from the sun with an umbrella and holds a urinal for him. 1961
