BLEMISH RESCUE FACE MASK

I know all these work so they are go to products.

Waited until morning the day after the facial to write this up.

What I have found is it cleared some of the blemishes, but the worst one is still there. It has smoothed the surface layer. The facial has hydrated my skin and has a grip hold of the problem blemish.

I haven’t been exfoliating so this could be why my skin has started blemishing again.

Part of blemish prevention is not only proper facials but creating time in your busy schedule to do the facials.

Once a month at least you need to do a proper facial like in a salon.

We are supposed to exfoliate every day, but twice a week at least is a start.

This facial includes some of my go to blemish rescue products. This was what I set off to do when Vichy started to change and I couldn’t get their exfoliator anymore ~ still hope that comes back.

Hope some of these ideas and products help you too if your go to products changed in covid.

I used Nutrogena cleanser, (use this everyday now instead of Vichy)

water-gel-cleanser

Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser 125ml

I used this exfoliator as I was doing an all day spa day, used this on my décolletage area also.

Then I washed it off, dried with tissue layed flat over my face and took off any excess with Lancome toner, (this is gentle enough to use all over your face and neck.)

I then applied Vichy toner with cotton wool pads just on the blemished areas so as not to dry out the rest of my skin.

vichy-normaderm-purifying-pore-tightening-lotion-200ml

This product works.

Then I applied Pink Clay to the blemished areas.

I bought some pink clay powder once that you made into a mask yourself, (love making products myself.) have to say this is better as it is already prepared for you. Pink clay is a classic blemish cure. I go to this product for hard to smooth out and problematic blemishes.

How to use

Apply to damp face and neck. Relax and allow to penetrate for 15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water and wash cloth.

Just takes 15 minutes as oppose to a whole afternoon preparing and tidying up.

Running a bit low on this now, unfortunately Holland and Barrett stopped selling it due to some weird adverts during covid?

You can purchase it direct from Sukin, but we still have problems with covid post and have to collect instore.

I’d repeat purchase this product if I could.

Then I did eye mask and face mask

Realised my blemishes are because my skin isn’t hydrated enough so opted for a hydration face mask.

elemis-pro-collagen-hydra-gel-mask-(6-pack)

(These lift your eyebrows too if you like that look, I do.)

antipodes-flora-probiotic-skin-rescue-hyaluronic-mask-75ml

Then I finished with:

antipodes-culture-probiotic-night-recovery-water-cream

Conclusion

I’ve tried a lot of product to get to this point.

Glad I started.

Before my illness I used loads of products but I had to spend all my money on Vichy during recovery and setting up our buisness.

Having to find alternatives to Vichy has been hard work, but not only have I found alternatives that work, have recalled previous memories of evening spa.

Really happy and content I have found, ‘go to’ blemish solutions.

Hope this is of use to you and these products are of help to you.
