SAPHIRE’S HAIRDRESSING SALON/WILL O THE WISP

After detoxing I’m left with dry ears, strange noises and itchiness.

The nerd said it is the toxins clearing out.

I thought it sounded similar symptoms to someone who has a virus, but it isn’t.

Can sort of put up with it now I know what it is.

To create a bit of relief and progress with the ‘grow your hair our project’, I decided to trim the split hair around my ears.

Sounds awful, but worse if you leave it looking dry.

Some of it is hair growing back from when I had it bleached.

At a guess the hard hair is possibly new hair and the wispy hair at different lengths is where the covid brush split it or vice versa.

Cut it all to the short length or percevere with different lengths till it grows out?

Hairdressers of yore would just cut it all to where the hair was thick.

I asked a hairdresser about this conundrum, last one I went to actually.

conundrum

  1. a confusing and difficult problem or question.”one of the most difficult conundrums for the experts”

Oxford dictionary

He said it was quicker to just cut it all off, but you can percervere with the different length option.

As I can’t go to a hairdresser and haven’t the skill to do a hairstyle, I’m having to struggle with the different length option.

Cut your hair at the end of the month

I used to have my hair cut at the end of every month.

Decided to start doing this again.

I usually trim it for about 5 days as I find it hard doing it myself and get bored then go back and do a bit more till it is finished.

This morning the length doesn’t look that bad so I’m leaving it.

The layers underneath are dry and wispy.

The hair around my ears and the back of my neck are irrating as the wispy bits feel uncomfortable.

Method for cutting wispy ends

A hairdresser would use a comb or his/her fingers to level it off.

As I’m doing it myself I just cut it randomly.

The method to this madness is eventually it will grow out to the same length then it could be cut properly.

I combed my long hair over to the other side and then pulled the short ends out.

This month it is the ones round my ears and neck.

Then you look at the lengths of the short hairs.

Mine are all different so instead of cutting them all short to the shortest length, I group the lengths that are similar and cut off the wisps to a straight angle.

It is obviously not a style, but doesn’t matter as you can’t tell as the longer lengths hide it.

Then do the same at the back.

Hopefully this will stop it irratating me, but also make it grow out faster.

Couldn’t trim them before as the brush had broken the ends too short.

You can use the clips to clip the long lengths back.

Conclusion

Hope this is of use and might give you some ideas if the same thing has happened to you.

I’d have a bob again if I could get to a hairdresser, but I couldn’t do it myself; hairdressers are obviously skilled with experience and know what they are doing.

Luckily I asked a hairdresser before covid about cutting your hair at home and growing it out long.

Today was a bit weird but hopefully my hair is starting to go normal again.

If hairdressers come back it will hopefully be at a decent length to be able to get a good hairstyle.

Think I might need another course of Nourkin but haven’t been able to get any due to stock.

Trying for some again.

Also more of these as they work best on my hair as it is fine, hopefully the longer ones will come back too.

You can get these to match your hair colour and great for days when you want your hair off your face.

Conclusion

Feel a bit sad and weird today, but it hopefully has started to work.

Will be glad when it all grows out to be honest.

Will be a lot more happier if proper detangling brushes for fine hair come back.

Yet another product to add to the cross reference weird covid product file.

My hair is a bit wonky I suppose, but I’ve been to hairdressers in the past that haven’t got the ends straight before so it swings in roundabouts I suppose.

Then everyone says it will grow out anyway so why worry.

Hope your coping with your hair and home hairdressing salons till things go back to normal.
