Did a facial that I trusted would work, but ended up with two hideous blemishes. Further more they are really red and hurt.
One just needs leaving to heal as it is sore.
The other one can be treated and dried up.
Have to be honest and say I had large pores and combination skin as a teenager, but not acne.
Everyone gets blemishes and so forth, but you don’t expect a blemish cure to actually give you blemishes?
Maybe the clue is in the graphics.
Is it the product aimed at bad gals?
Could it be the glycerin and rosewater?
Or was it the tea tree and witch hazel?
Or in fact the combination of all three in a facial?
Are you fed up of being a beauty detective and just want your tried and trusted products back, could scooby doo go back to junior TV?
I just want my Vichy products back, really badly now.
It took me ages to find it was the brand that worked for me.
As other bloggers are being more honest and daring to speak up, feel more confident to say.
My problem is cleansers and exfoliators.
The Vichy range is for women like me, so we need the formula as it was before covid.
If this product doesn’t work for some women they need to find another brand, not change all the products to suit them?
Fortunately you can still get some original Vichy products.
Reading the reviews underneath all the other Vichy women want certain products back as before too.
Having tried loads of other brands as I can’t get my Vichy cleanser and exfoliator, my conclusion is just to bring back the vichy cleanser and exfoliator I used before covid and put it back how it was.
Loreal Algae Mask
This was my go to blemish mask, worked brilliantly.

It is coming up out of stock?
Please re stock this in Boots!!!
Found some in Superdrug so will try to get an order from there again.
The Grouch Spa Day ~ defeating the whole point of Beauty
I hate arguing and try to diffuse arguments as soon as possible.
But today I’m just whinging as I’m becoming exasperated.
I think I make facials fun as I have to look after my skin owing to it’s condition.
It would be easier if I didn’t have to do them but I do.
So the fact someone somewhere has ruined a lot of the products women rely on has disrupted my coping mechanisms.
I did try the Bad Gal mask on its own actually and it made my skin red and sore. The other blemish now looks like acne.
Not being funny or obvious, but if you purchase a blemish mask you just want it to dry up the blemish as quickly as possible and make it go away.
I’ve gone to the Vichy Blemish page and the exfoliant is still not in stock ~ aaaarrrggghhhh!!!!
vichy.co.uk/all-products/skincare
Going to put together the best blemish facial I can from the vichy products I have.
Just found another cleanser that looks to of changed?
Why?

Just found I still have the pump bottle of this, stopped using it when they put it into this rubbish packaging.
You can’t recycle the old bottle as it melts when you try to steralise it.
You need a new pump bottle everytime really, especially as it is for people with problem skin.
Why has someone made a mess of the beauty industry?
But it supports rubbish products in all types of pump bottles that are useless and overpriced.
Just put everything back how it was before Covid
Vichy is more a neccessity than beauty if you have skin like mine.

Really fed up of models with bushy eyebrows ~ do they look ugly without them or something?
They look allright to me when you move the screen past their eyebrows?
In fact most of them look prettier without bushy eyebrows that need grooming.
Conclusion
Really hope this face mask rescues my skin.
Desperately hope someone sorts out the problems in the beauty industry, particularly with cleansers, exfoliators, pump bottles and blemish solutions.
If bushy eyebrows went away we could have makeup again.
If we manage to get a superdrug haul will purchase more from there as I used to shop at Superdrug as well as Boots, it is just we were only managing to get products from Boots during covid.
Sorry I’ve been a bit unhappy in this blog, it isn’t my style really.
I was trained to leave my problems in the umbrella stand when I went to work, then be professional.
To be professional these days you have to state your problems, so you can go back to being professional.
I have sensitive problematic skin so I rely on brands like Vichy and need the packaging to be efficient.
Thank God for Brands like Sea Magik and Alba Botanical as they are still the same.
If I could just use natural products I would, but with my condition I do need some chemicals.
If you need chemical products also, I hope your brands go back as they were as it is miserable when your skin is uncomfortable.
Just felt like sharing this as I’m upset about beauty at the moment also.
Will let you know how my rescue mask goes and if I manage to get a Superdrug Haul.
Superdrug is a british beauty shop similar to Boots. Boots is an older shop (founded in Victorian times) and also a Chemist and stocks allsorts of different products. Superdrug is mainly beauty I think.
Superdrug was founded onĀ May 28, 1964Ā by brothers Ronald and Peter Goldstein.Ā The first Superdrug store opened on April 26, 1966 on Putney High Street in London.Ā
