The story starts with an office temp leaving her job as Mr Axelford isn’t interested in her.
I wondered if this look was Biba?
Like this skirt, but not the polo neck tucked in and double chain necklaces. I probably won’t purchase polo necks ever again as they annoy me.
I was inspired by this hairstyle as I’m just growing mine out as you can’t go to hairdressers anymore.
At first I thought she was brunette, but she is actually a shade of brown with blonde streaks.
This look came back in fashion as I opted for it. I regret it now as it ruined my hair. Where the streaks are is the area that got damaged.
She still looks brunette though.
Wonder if this is the darker concealer lip look?
I like her hairstyle but wouldn’t wear cream. Maybe the coat as it is white cream. Looks like Mango coats pre covid.
The Cardigan that never went out of fashion till covid.
Think I took this cardigan for granted.
You could get it almost everywhere, different lengths, sometimes belted, different weights, either skinny ribbed or thick.
Guessing a lot of women miss this cardigan.
It was never expensive either so you could get loads of these.
I opted for black and plum, can’t remember if I got the striped one, but I miss these cardigans. I liked pink also.
Another look that is sort of me.
Julia wear this look with knee high boots, love this look.
The Nude Lip trending at the moment and causing annoyance.
I noticed this almost invisible natural look. Then realised it is like the current Mac concealer lips. I also noticed her bottom lash look.
I can see why you would either love or loathe this look.
I think the actress, Julia Foster looks stunning as she is blonde and can get away with not wearing any makeup.
After my streaks I went blonde and found I didn’t need as much makeup.
Maybe you need the bottom lashes to get this look to work?
I’m fascinated by this look as I think it might be a bit like the Rhoda look; you might actually use more makeup to achieve this than a makeup look.
There is a lot of effort put into the bottom lashes.
I might try this just to see what happens ~ need the bottom lashes though.
Conclusion
Strangely I prefer the lighter colours even though I have almost black hair.
When trends change and your look isn’t there anymore it can be annoying and hard work.
Have to say I like these two looks.
Whether I will do them or not depends on if I get product.
