Tried a few mascaras the other day
Preferred YSL mascara and Clarins mascara. They build up quickly. I like a false lash effect and volume.
Think this is for women who don’t want a false eyelash effect, which is fair enough. I like Loreal best for mascara.
Enjoyed opening the box.
Starting to realise you really need an advent Calendar with your favourite things in. Really grateful I got an Advent Calendar at all though.

Beautiful Skin Nourishing Hand and Nail Cream 125ml
Remember getting this before and throwing it away as the fragrance isn’t that pleasant and I don’t like the design.
No7 packaging used to be really good, not sure why they changed it?

Bought this today as a 3 for 2 deal, I have to agree with some people the smell is unpleasant and it isn’t that special hands are sticky after use.

Really don’t like this colour, they also do coral and pink.
This is no way anywhere near taupe?
Sort of fed up with makeup now and not inspred to purchase coral or pink if that is what you are supposed to do?

Not sure I like how dry it goes.
This doesn’t look like Coral or pink ~ just the flowerpot colours again.
Really don’t like the packaging doesn’t influence me at all.
Was dissapointed it was makeup again which is unusual for me.

Stay Perfect Foundation

Not happy with this day.
It is a voucher for a free foundation.
All the shades are muddled up so not sure which one I am.
You can’t order it online so you are expected to go out?
Just wanted a bit of fickle fun with an advent calendar not days on end of face pulling as I’m upset.
Wish they had either put makeup in every one could use or none.
Wasn’t going to complain about this calendar as I’m just grateful to have one, but starting to wonder if I’ve been had?
Had to read the voucher with a magnyfying glass as it was ridiculously small print.
Would guess they hope you don’t order it, or go into store and be tricked into buying more makeup ~ I don’t like No7 makeup though.

Really disappointed as thought it was bronzing pearls.
I got light glow at least, but this isn’t light glow.
Will scoop the product out and recycle the jar.
Quite like the jar it is like a bronzing pearl jar.
Will come in for craft tools like pins, sequins or beads now I’m crafting again or talcum powder.
Conclusion
Really enjoying the concept of an Advent Calendar for adults.
Am loving opening the golden boxes.
Wondering if I made a mistake with this calendar, to be fair if you love No7 and orangy brown makeup?, you may love this one.
I did try for other ones, but this is all I got.
Have to say unless the Calendar states the type of makeup and who it suits, it is not going to work for everyone.
I need one for winter colours with bronzing pearls or powder for fair skin.
I was deliberating about being honest, but if I lied I might get sent more, so honesty is the best policy.
I don’t want to add up if I’ve been had as I didn’t buy it for that reason.
At the end of the day I’ve had so much fun opening the boxes I’ve probably had my moneysworth there; like a child who doesn’t play with their expensive present but turns the box into a sports car or fairy tale castle lol!!!
Not sure if I would get this next year, wonder if I should try for one that is more practical where I will use all the presents. For this reason feel obliged to work out if I got my moneysworth.
Just as a suggestion I used to get loads of free No7 vouchers, I used to purchase nailvarnish with it as I didn’t like the makeup, but mainly bought spa products if it didn’t insist you bought makeup.
I’m being truthfull as I’m not promoting it, I paid for this with my own money.
Hopefully next week will be better and I will get my moneysworth.
Then end on a high note.
