After whinging about makeup colours this morning, I’m hoping to save my day by trying out the spa products in my advent calendar.
I have already turned the bumper product vanity case into a facial product case and are happy with that as my other one was falling to bits.
It fits quite a lot in, to be honest I only ordered it for the vanity case anyway as I can’t get the one from Amazon delivered.
Suppose I’ve spent £60 on a vanity case.
Hopefully the spa products are good.
The case is a nicer colour in real life.
I’ve saved £138, will have to do the math.
If the makeup adds up to £138 I haven’t saved anything I suppose.
But I desperately needed a vanity case, so it was worth £60.
It has really cheered me up this afternoon as it is nice and new, one of the things I love about Christmas.
Can’t be bothered to do the math as there isn’t anything I can do about it anyway and I want the case.
I’ve still got the mirror anyway.
Advent Calendar Facial
I combined it with some of my other products, but these are some of the facial products I have got out of the advent calendar.
I did a basic facial, but tried the No7 exfolitor instead of the Vichy one, (which will hopefully be restocked soon).

The fragrance of this product was gorgeous, it smelt like zesty oranges.

Hazards and Cautions
This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure during usage of this product and for a week after use of the product has stopped. Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into the eyes rinse well with water immediately. Do not apply to irritated or broken skin. This is not a food. Keep out of reach of children.
I don’t exfoliate every day and I’m not going outside, but worth reading the instructions.
The Vichy one is better if you are going outside maybe.
Was really gentle with this as it has grains in.

How to use
Apply a 1mm layer evenly over your face avoiding the eye area. Leave to dry for 10-15 minutes. When completely dry, peel off from your face. Rinse with warm water to remove any remains. This product will not dry if you use it in the bath.

As Christmas has started on Weekend TV, had a good potter around today.
Think I whinged a bit in makeup journal as I can’t get the colours I want, but overall the gifts are turning out how I wanted them too.
The Vanity Case is brilliant and actually is more useful and easier to store and use than the one I feng shuid.
My facial was lovely and is getting more on track with the facials I used to do.
Hopefully the No7 products will be in my go to facial collection.
Feeling really organised and fresh faced.
