Luckily of late I have collated a good selection of facial products for my spa days which I have twice a week.
A few of my go to products haven’t been restocked yet, so in worried desperation I have been shopping for alternatives until they come back into stock.
Finally this year I got a beauty advent calendar which is everything I hoped it would be ~ so far anyway on day 3.
The great thing about Advent Calenders is they hopefully re stock up your spa drawer.
I’m guessing they are a great way to try new product and top up on your favourites.
Not sure what to do with the empty daily boxs yet, but realised the finished calendar large mirrored box creates a great storage box ~ this I may use as a spa facial product box or maybe a Jewellery box as it is so decorative.
I’m going to upload the whole content of this calendar into Makeup Saturday, then blog the products as I use them on my Spa Days.
Have to say I don’t always like every spa product I purchase, but what I do like will become go to products that I will repurchase.
I think I’ve discovered a product I can have my second childhood with ~ advent calendars.
We had chocolate ones when we were little, so we weren’t deprived, but I don’t think you have had to be deprived to have a 2nd childhood?
Todays Facial
I started with the basic facial
Then did a mud pack and used retinol under eye patches, then sat back, relaxed and watched a spa film, really nice after the Fancy dress party at the weekend.

As I’d already done my eyes I concentrated on my forehead and putting moisure back into my face.
Review
My face was really glowing after this mask.
I need the glow on my forehead area.
My nose is oily so might not use glow product on my nose.
The mask probably won’t stay on then, so found a great soloution for these adjustable masks.
It might be possible to make a combination skin face mask.
This idea is new to me, so this blog has given me an idea where to take it.

Conclusion
This facial was lovely and relaxing after the stressful build up to the fancy dress party.
My forehead felt quite sore at one point, then calmed down as the facial went along.
Think it was crying out for moisture.
My whole face feels very moisturised now.
It has made me realise I need to get more moisture into my daily routine.
