(my skin had gone a bit dry last week, so I have gone back to using Vichy, it has been out of stock for a while so I had to try something else. Have to say been in this circuit before, where you try everything and end back with the product, item, clothing and so forth that worked for you in the first place. Boots told us vichy exfoliator is coming back into stock soon ~ she uses vichy as well. I think it is what this video means by medicated. I used to be combination skin, but had my disturbed skin condition treated. Now I’m oily on my nose, then normal to dry everywhere else. Vichy is the only product that works for me. They introduced some new products that don’t work and people were moaning underneath, think they may just be altering the packaging ~ hope they bring the pumps back. I tried steralising the container to recycle and it melted?. That is probably another blog. Anyway used Vichy all week and hopefully the primer will work better and my skin won’t be as dry).

What is disturbed skin?

Blush is applied to give cheeks a quiet glow.
A good rule to follow is never let blush come nearer the nose than an imaginary line dropped vertically from the centre of the eye.
Blush should be applied from the centre of the cheek upward and into the temples.
Blushes can also be used for contouring.

The simplest powder to use is a colourless translucent one.
Pat on liberally.
A tuft of cotton that can be thrown away is the best powder puff to use.
Wait for the powder to set.
Then with a clean powder puff, brush away excess with downward strokes.

Conclusion
Have to say I learned a few things I didn’t know from part two.
Now that I know how to apply setting powder, I would like to try it.
I was going too fast with my brushes and just grabbing one that looked like it would do.
Also I have never had enough time to spend on myself to learn all this. It takes quite a long time.
If you went to a 60’s beauty school I would imagine you would learn about brushes and makeup in stages. Probably faster than this, but I’m not a beauty school and I have other time consuming commitments.
If I keep going like this every week hopefully by December we will have learnt this video and how to do it.
You do need to practice each section and go over it to learn in mho.
As I’ve been so busy of late I have let my facials slip.
Charlotte Tilbury believes our face is our canvas and to do a good painting we need a good base.
Obviously from this video nutrition is important also, which will will touch upon in Nutritional November.
The right moisturiser and cleansing system is also essential for clearing up blemishes and disturbed skin.
Some of this information used to be more readily available, just forgot some of it.
