An Evening with Don Ho in Hawai’i/Pina Colado

This weekend party I think I got a bit too serious and tried to be really exact with drinks and food and learning about Island Holidays.

(I get a bit too serious a lot, I try to learn names of people properly, something I had to learn how to do as a teacher, not to upset any of the children. I don’t do teacher things anymore except that. Sorry if it is a bit serious).

I watched Don Ho last night for the first time and realised it goes really well with a Pina Colada.

Annoyingly I have an M and S Pina Colado at the back of the drinks cabinet, but I don’t drink on Saturday and I’ve come down with stress flu. I was burning up with a fever last night, so watched my own tv instead of working.

Watched 3 films and had a lovely time.

Decided to write this up for anyone who hasn’t tried it and wants to, and then it will be prepared ready for next year.

Also decided just to do photos once a month with the parties as might of got a bit stressed doing it every week. Will prepare instead with makeup and fashion ideas for the end of the month. It gets a bit samey doing it every week anyway.

I did prep for the island holiday party, but I haven’t any Island clothes, except a leopard skin top maybe that was too small when I bought it, it is packed under loads of heavy boxs and the strength has gone in my arms. Even though I live on an Island, I have never been on holiday to one. Found some half-made jewellery so was going to finish it and use that idea. Hopefully get some of the fashion for next year and do it then. Hope you saw something of interest and get it for your social media projects and holidays.

Island Fusion Party

We are doing the island fusion party tonight of Hawai’i pizza,

Jamaica cake

and Irish or calypso coffee ~ either use Irish whiskey or tia maria

This is such an easy way to make it. We used to do the pouring cream over a spoon version that is really hard.

Don Ho evening in Hawaii with Pino Colada

Pina Colada wasn’t invented in Hawai’i, so I didn’t put it in the drinks cabinet, this is ridiculously pedantic of me, as obviously, people drink pina colada in Hawai’i.

If you haven’t done the Don Ho weekend I really recommend it. You need a pina colado ready for when a certain song comes on.

You could do it next week and get a pina colado as I can leave things on Pinterest longer, or do it next year. I am more prepared for it now.

Really enjoyed Don Ho, he isn’t quite what I expected, but as good in a different way.
