Chose the Rose Perfume ~ which is one of my favourite fragrances. Really enjoyed the story of the little rose it is based on. I hope to grow roses one day so it is interesting knowledge. Quite like I know the story about the rose, so when I wear it will be thinking about it as well as enjoying one of my favourite scents.
Love the bottle design as well with the hint of colour.

Isabelle d’Ornano envisioned this abstract bottle as two glass sculptures, one placed one on top of the other. Because art is dear to the d’Ornano family, they asked London-based illustrator Quentin Jones to imagine Izia’s visual universe: a patchwork where the romanticism of rose blends with Isabelle d’Ornano’s embroidery and street art typography.
Then I decided to choose an eau de toilette
The reviews were a bit confusing so decided to choose the one with the best reviews. It is an Iris in freshwater ~ sounds lovely. Another delightful story to imagine whilst wearing it. Have to be honest and say eau de toilette isn’t strong that is the whole point of it isn’t it? Think this is nice for a walk in the countryside maybe or when you just want a spritz of perfume and nothing overpowering.
I’d like to try the other ones also but opted for this, this time.

I quite like this is homeopathic, but also aesthetically pleasing as that is also part of the therapy for me if I’m honest.
I like how it has a 70’s feel, but is brought up to date with the bottle colours and design.
Will wear this when I feel stressed or have anxiety which is often. Just because your stressed you still want to look and feel glamorous, that actually helps you feel better about yourself in itself.

Conclusion
Really enjoyed shopping at Sisely, I had to slow down and think about what I was purchasing more than I usually do. I like the natural influence in this perfume, well the ones I chose this time. It does appear to be a unique range. It looks really expensive as well ~ I’m really taken by the bottle design and advertising.
The perfume society is the first society I have ever really wanted to get into. Really glad someone set it up and equally glad I found it.
As I can’t buy clothes at the moment it is a way for me to spend my money and get retail therapy, which I genuinely need.
Hope you enjoy this perfume junky shop also. Glad to share my new found hobby. I used to browse perfume shops and ebay for hours and enjoy myself, so you don’t even need to spend money if you don’t want to.

It is becoming a new hobby for me, hope you find something in it too. Before covid I used to browse fashion, jewellery, shoes and so forth for hours till it triggered serotonin release. All the fashion continually being the same every season and every year doesn’t do anything for me, maybe if it fitted me, but searching through clothes I know don’t fit does nothing. Perfume is the first thing I have found that triggers off happy serotonin.
It is costing a bit of money, but perfume can sometimes go up in value and become collectible, whereas fashion goes down in value. Think this makes up for all the perfume I used to browse but could never afford.
I wouldn’t collect fashion anyway, just wear it.
Sunday Evening
Having my Saturday wine allowance on Sunday ~ hopefully getting some red wine as there is iron in it and serving with chicken Cesaer Salad.
Will be watching Sunday TV and playing catch up with anything I missed over the weekend.
Then finish off with a top of the pops party a few gin and tonics and have a bit of a dance.
