Last year we decided to grow our hair out of the rubbish style created by a COVID brush that ripped hair. We were told to grow it out for a year and not trust covid hairdressers who were doing hairstyles that didn’t suit people.
Proper hairdressers were either blocked from working or weren’t willing to put up with COVID restrictions. Suppose we will find out what actually happened soon.
A good hairdresser will take your face shape and do a haircut that suits your face. I got told I had a frog chin, possibly by the bitches running amok during covid. Have to be honest and say I know I’m not a model, I also am body dysmorphic, but I quite like to make the best of myself with hairdressers and clothes that fit properly. I’m not sure if a frog chin actually is a recognized face shape?
As I’m fairly tough-skinned up to a point.
I laughed at the caricature of me as half Martian half frog. They got it so right I could see it in the mirror. Not sure I was supposed to laugh, it was cute as well though.
Then came the pure nasty caricatures, even I couldn’t handle them.
It set off my depression and anxiety. At one point I was so bad I had to blow into paper bags.
We were living in a budget hotel at the time as they illegally evicted us.
This is a great tip if you have panic attacks.
Luckily we sued them successfully for cyberbullying and illegal eviction.
After watching cyberbully the film, I’m learning to fight back.
Also designed loads of fabric and fashion designs whilst in the hotel on my own (whilst the men sorted out the legalities), I might get made up as I need something to do so I’m working, learned it is good for the mind. Think this is one of the reasons I have to do social media.
Hair tips till proper hairdressers come back
It will be a year in April since I decided to let my hair grow out but I cheated on Monday and trimmed my ends.
I get scissor happy.
The reason is an absolutely brilliant discovery – vaseline works like Vitapoint on hair.
Vitapoint is a vintage product you can’t buy at the moment due to covid 19 restrictions. You put a really small amount of the cream on your dry ends and it worked.
The other day I saw an advert saying vitapoint = vaseline.
The penny dropped and I thought what the hell!!!
You just use a really small amount of Vaseline and work it into the ends of your hair, had to say was a bit worried it would just go into a sticky annoying mess but it didn’t.
You could do it overnight and wash it out the next day, but I just left it in.
Massaged some on my scalp also, which has been irratatingly dry.
Probably just keep using this until hairdressers and products come back, then depending on how things change, guess I will still incorporate this technique. You can’t tell really it might still be useful.
Managed to make a parting, but I have shocking split ends that are really short. So styled it back over to one side again like we were told to do during covid. It was a good exercise as I now want to aim for shiny hair instead of dry hair.
Saw this hairstyle at Versace and would like to aim for a long version of it.

Couldn’t help but notice some dry ends so Feather cut them out.
Remember to use proper hairdressing scissors if you trim your own ends. If you can’t wait till April lol!!!
Found some Hairdressing scissors whilst shopping last night.
Most chemists and drug stores sell them.
These are from Bodycare one of my favourite shops.
Rediscovered Bodycare after doing the WordPress de-clutter.
If you don’t want scissors you might want to browse the products, they aren’t fully stocked yet, but quite enjoyed shopping the wide range they do have.
I won’t hustle it, it is up to you if you want a browse.
Conclusion
Just noticed they sell the Vaseline tins, made my own out of an old plastic round box.
Remember the tins?

Get the feeling it is all coming back!!!
Everything will just change then!!!
Hope you enjoyed this blog.
I’m not a hairdresser but I like playing.

Deleted most of this, then had to start doing it again for some reason?
