love how all the colours match her seasonal colouring. I really like how she is wearing her knee-high boots for small calves with a flared skirt.
love this dress really feminine, and it might even fit me as it is highwaisted, would definitely wear something like this if it fitted me, love pretty clothes – would opt for winter colours though.
love how she has done her hair with a ribbon.
The pretty curtains match her feminine blouse and look.
love this pretty outfit and the yellow chairs, not sure I have ever seen any like that, all I have known is the beige type look.

Stella Stevens plays a really feminine character who falls in love with the wrong man. She makes herself look pretty for him and has made his shack a home for him, but he fails to see all her effort. He isn’t romantic towards her at all so she calls him boring.

Film Interior design

This curtain fabric verges on awful, but isn’t. It works as an overall curtain design as oppose to the brash overbold digital printed furnishing fabrics and wallpapers we were seeing coming out pre covid.
This shack is horrible stone and wood, but the fabric plays on it and softens the harshness.
This lamp is possibly victorian retro. We used to go to a shop in a seaside town like Nantucket and new England that had two storeys of interior design like this for very affordable prices. Probably shut now, unless it followed covid restrictions and switched to purchasing artisan amateur products made out of old rubbish.
The writing desk in the corner is either antique or ikea, really clever use of space.
The dressing table is either antique or if new not sure which shop. Her makeup and perfume must be tidied away in the top two drawers. Her jewellery must be in the little ceramic container.

For a small log cabin, this has quite a lot of furniture and design.

Really not struck by the log cabin, but I like the furniture and feminine flourishes.

He is like Covid – an artisan – completely clueless about what women want.

She is like pre covid and hopefully the near future. A woman who likes candles, cushions brickabrack some pretty curtains, and so forth. (like just about all the women in the world).

The furniture could be antique, but it is also very Ikea pre covid, perfect for furnishing a small space.

The curtains and deco are kitsch.

You could do the design look yourself if they would send the craft products. Probably would still do projects like that myself, they are not hard to do but quite satisfying and enjoyable. There used to be loads of tutorials on YouTube, (before Artisan), that were really good by professional designers and artists.

TV EPISODE REVIEW

love this episode as well, apparently, they aren’t all good. So they canceled the series. I wonder if the ones that failed weren’t aesthetic. My favorites so far have aesthetic styling and fashion.

This is what a lot of bored housewives would probably like to do lol!!! Think it is a really good story and the actors play the parts really well.
