When mutual friend Jonathan (Tony Randall) discovers that his best friend is moving in on the girl he desires, however, sparks fly.

“Sins of Mrs. X” likely refers to the book “The Sins of Mrs. Ema” by Mirela Kanini, a novel about love and a woman’s emotional journey, or the 2000 Lifetime TV movie “Sex & Mrs. X,” starring Jacqueline Bisset, about a woman who rediscovers herself after her husband leaves her. The phrase could also be a misunderstanding of either title.

Love story about a professional woman who adopts her nephew after her sister dies during childbirth. Motherhood turns her life upside down, and further complications arise when she traces the boy’s estranged father, who claims custody of the child. It is up to the boy caught in the middle to come up with a solution.
