HAVING CHRISTMAS IN GRINCH LIKE TIMES

Have to say some of the dress sizings at the moment would fit the Grinch.

You do wonder if there is some sort of Grinch like figure that hates women.)

Over the past week I’ve altered 5 dresses for christmas by hand ~ got more ideas in the pipeline and get the gist of what to do.

Today I have come down with stress flu and realise I will have to put the dress idea on hold.

I watched the Grinch this morning and realised christmas comes anyway we just have to make the most of what we have gathered for it and not get stressed or upset if we don’t achieve everything we had planned.

I was going to take photos of the dresses.

I might still be on track yet depending on how long the stress flu lasts.

What I have created is only a prototype anyway.

Also if any one wanted to purchase one of them they are not any use as they are just tacked together.

They would need manufacturing in a professional factory to a high standard.

If I wear them and you can’t purchase them it is like teasing and showing off.

I’m not like that.

The other problem is our camera has a comedy app; it makes your head look bigger than your legs.

I’m not a model type, but I’m average height and build so the average woman would see it would fit them if I had a proper camera.

Fashion that fits on the high street as oppose to sewing at home

Have to be honest and say I’d rather of just purchased these dresses on the high street but in sizes that fit.

Having said that I’m really enjoying the sewing at home projects.

Have learnt loads of tricks I didn’t know and remembered sewing skills I learnt in needlework class at school.

I sort of wish I’d had tutors like this on my degree course, my tutor admited she couldn’t make fashion so I had to make samples and lengths of fabrics as oppose to dresses.

I’ve not made these items from scratch ~ I think you make paper patterns with a french curve or something like that.

So I’ve not actually designed them.

Having said that a manufacturer might be able to reproduce them.

Have to laugh as I’ve cut the labels out and sizings ~ so now they are my size which is small on the BMI.

Will do the photos if we get a camera that works and when we are feeling better.

Christmas TV

Will be loading Christmas TV up on wordpress.

I’m well enough to load up TV ~ so will do this till I’m well.

Conclusion

Possibly doing Christmas in leggings and T shirt this year unless anything changes in the meantime.

Comedy photo apps?

I think if someone is a comedian going for larfs, an app that makes peoples heads look bigger than their legs will add more material to the repertoire.

If you are just making memories or photographing art or design photos ~ your not really going for humour.

Don’t let the Grinch Grind you Down

As well as clothes and makeup I guess people have stopped taking photos as they don’t work anymore.

Instead of crying like the 2025 Grinch wants us to do, I think we need to be strong and make the best of what we are allowed.

Relaxing Laid Back Christmas

I think we are just going to chill out.

We have worked hard all year so need a rest.

If the Grinch expects us to work through Christmas he has sort of made it impossible.

There will be loads of nostalgic TV for you on WordPress TV, have put it in a playlist so you don’t even need to get up; just lounge in your lounge pants eating and drinking your festive fair as you watch back to back nostalgic christmas tv.

Never had time to do this idea before but did it as a covid project.

If you start collecting the christmas booze that is less for you to buy in the mad week, we’ve collected loads of our during the end of month parties.

There are 8 ghost stories to go with Liqueur if you want to do the 8 days of Liqueur ~ finishing on New Years Day. Added some new ones this year.
