Doing this project again as I cut my hair quite a lot.
It is still long but I cut off all the dry ends.
The front side lengths are shoulder length.
The hair split by the covid brush is the underneath layers.
They have grown to shoulder length now but are at that annoying stage.

By next April they will be past that length then I can tidy up the dry ends.
This month I coloured my hair with Loreal:

Didn’t get any chestnut haircolour but liked the idea.
Think I suit dark brown best anyway so not to worry.
My new makeup goes really well with dark brown hair so that problem is solved now anyway thank goodness.
If you don’t suit red lipstick and have dark hair these two lipsticks might be for you and get you through the red lipstick domination.

This pink is actually a really nice blended colour, really subtle but enough colour to work.
You can put your lip gloss over ~ but you need a lipstick colour under the balms and glosses if you have dark hair.

This coral shade isn’t true coral but then again like the pink it is a lovely blended shade.
Barely coral.
Then you put your glosses over it.
This range was originally aimed at teenagers.
I still used to buy it before covid makeup anyway thinking back.
£2.50
This is a good price to pay for a lipstick.
I’m not a skinflint and did buy luxury brands, but I like bargains and I used to purchase a lot of makeup alongside fashion shoes jewellery interior design and so forth.
I’d rather spend £2.50 on something that suits me than waste my money on luxury red or brown that I don’t suit and I end up binning.
Just saying in mho.
n.b.
You need to blot your lipgloss also, I forgot and it went all over my face lol!!! ~ that is why you gently blot lipgloss.
Double moisture wash after Hair colouring
A few days after colouring my hair I washed it again and did a moisture mask.

The fragrance is gorgeous.
Being your own hairdresser
I cut my hair quite a lot last month and still did photos.
In the past it used to look awful if I cut it myself but due to covid restrictions on aesthetics I have had to teach myself by piecing together tips I learnt from talking to professional hairdressers.
I think it still isn’t very good but I’m learning and at least it is getting healthy.
Since I stopped using heated hair appliances like straighteners and hairdryers I find my hair is naturally straight and I don’t get frizz anymore.

If you suffer from frizzy hair ~ give this trick a go ~ just dry your hair naturally with a microfibre hair turban. They come in different sizes so you may need to shop around.
Alternatively just make your own hair turban from a towel ~ I do that sometimes.
You can sleep in this one too.
This is a hardcore technique that isn’t for everyone; women with luscious thick curly hair are horrified by this idea as heat appliances possibly don’t effect them.
As I have fine hair it is a different ball game when it comes to hair.
Now I’m my own hairdresser at the moment I’m discovering techniques hairdressers in salons haven’t got time to do with their busy client schedule.
Ater doing a moisture mask I went back to Keratase.

Nourkrin Results

The hair has grown back and created a hairline again. The problem was from bleach ~ read about it in an aromatherapy book. Not making it up ~ the same problem can occur from perms.

Not sure if I need more tablets?
Think you do it in stages.
Really happy with this result.
Conclusion
Hope this inspires you and you find something of use.
I hope hairdressers come back for everyone soon.
Even when they do come back we still do hairdressing at home between hairdressing appointments so it is good for us to learn anyway.
Till next month.
