Since the fat acceptance movement and not having a dvd player on our new computer I have struggled to find exercise.

I created a slimming calendar during covid getting inspiration off:

  • Google
  • My memory
  • Exercise videos I found on You Tube.

Finally this month I feel like it is coming together again.

I have a collection of Barbara Currie yoga dvds, but have found some of her videos on you tube.

As I can’t get on the floor I have compiled a little playlist of video clips you can use standing.

Luckily they cover my problem area, posture and face.

With Countess Dracula October I rediscovered body brushing.

The playlist is now a lovely little routine.

Some of it you can use everyday.

Everyday Yoga Practice

I’m going to try this again in December up until christmas eve where we stop exercising for 8 days ~ unless you have low seratonin where you can access the emergency 1 mile walks or jog in slimming calendar at any time if you need it.

Yoga Journal Daily Routine

  • Do the two tummy exercises on Thursday Yoga and brush out the toxins with a loofah or body brush.
  • Apply your body creams and cellulite products.
  • Do the face lift exercise

Ideally you will eventually do yoga everyday if that is your goal or a little extra private practice one day a week or after your yoga lesson.

I used to do one day a week private practice after my yoga session ~ hopefully will get on the floor again soon.

Until then this is a brilliant goal if you can’t get on the floor or just want a simple routine anyway if you are a busy person with not much spare time.

Hope the idea also inspires you if you are more advanced or you like the challenge if you are at the same level as me.

I think clearing the toxins out might make your detox easier hopefully.

Hoping the next detox works faster and I recover quicker.

Started it already and love the feeling of being pampered in a morning ~ remember to get up a bit earlier to fit it in.

I think you need to go gently at first and ease yourself into it, have a few rest days if it is uncomfortable, then start again.

It doesn’t take long.

If you have never done yoga before or not for a while a yoga teacher who got me into yoga said you should start off simply anyway.

You used to be able to purchase yoga journals before the fat acceptance movement.

If you can’t get one make your own.

We can still get lined paper and plain paper.

You might still be able to get those cardboard files for loose paper ~ you could store your notes in there until yoga journals come back.

The other day I managed to get some pencils in a box with rubber and sharpener.

That way you can make your notes tidy, then go over the tidy notes with pen if you want.

Trying to get some coloured pencils and felt tip pens next.
