December Workout Playlist

As there are 24 days to British Christmas you can do this up until the 25th, then have christmas off and begin Sindy Ballerina Camp not so dry January the first week of January.

I think Americans have longer off for christmas because or thanksgiving but not sure?

It is here if you want to do it anyway.

December is the same basic routine, as it works:

  • 3 days strength training with day off in between
  • 4 days cardio
  • 1 day Yoga
  • 2 spa days

If you are just starting out consider the 1 mile walk a day with yoga on Thursday.

Or the 1-mile walk a day with zsa zsa gabor weights 3 times a week and yoga on Thursday.

Then devise your own routine to tailor fit your lifestyle and schedule.

Do this 3 times a week plus yoga once a week

Monday

Strength and Cardio

Yeah!!

Found a new cardio and strength video for you.

It is for older adults but looks similar to November.

Don’t think it matters.

30 minutes

Or

You can do this challenge instead if you prefer as this was last years option.

You could add the ten minute strength 3 times a week to the Nivea Challenge.

Tuesday

You can just do this whole routine or I add standing abs as I can’t get on the floor here, then do the Lesley Sansone cooldown.

(I do this whenever I haven’t cooled down enough after workouts.)

Thursday

Yoga Playlist

After this do a facial and watch a spa film or have a little sleep listening to spa music.

Tried a yoga candle with this workout and it was lovely.

Friday

Dance Class

Jane Fonda Turkey Dance

I just do the aerobics as I can’t do the floor routine and I just do dance on Friday.

If you find this hard consider just doing it once this month as a monthly boost.

You can follow the instruction on the video and do it properly if you prefer and do it for your strength and cardio.

If you are worried about your joints do the quick fit cooldown afterwards.

If you prefer you can do Rosemary Conley Salsacise class ~ just rotate the videos each month.

Or combine all three for variety.

Saturday

Cardio and strength

You can do the whole workout or add standing abs if you can’t get on the floor.

Extra Cooldown if you need it.

Or repeat Monday

Notes for your Diary

You can do this up until Wednesday the 24th of December, then have 8 days off starting Ballerina Camp on the 2nd of January.

This prepares us for the Nostalgic Christmas party and 8 days off dieting with 8 liqueurs of Christmas.

We are hoping to do a game bird cooked in bacon for New Years day a supply teacher tradition and is the last day of liqueur ~ also great hangover cure from New Years Eve festivities and popular with any of your guests who have stayed over.

Conclusion

One thing I’m finding with the workouts is I sometimes reach for favourite videos and adlib the set routines a bit.

It still works so might work for you too.

I lost a pound in November from doing nutritional November, I did a food diary and reduced my weekly calories by 500 a week.

I switched chocolate with yoghurt from the guidance in Makeup Saturday and wonder if this contributed, apparently my skin looks better, but it definately feels smoother.

I’m taking the nutritional advice also and have found them to be helping.

Have to be honest and admit I have had to concentrate and put a lot of effort in, but hopefully by christmas I will get more results.

Hope you have been shedding unwanted pounds and feel like purchasing a party dress or two in December fashion calendar. The dresses match Liqueur and alcohol so are sparkly and great fun.
