Recently received some new fashion.
Thought I would do a review.
I had to alter some of them as they didn’t fit me.
(It is a bit slow as I haven’t got a sewing machine anymore.)
Got this in small.
It was too big for me so I took it in.
The sleeves were quite an unusual shape, I sort of had to guess how I wanted it to look.
Love little white/cream anghorra jumpers & cardigans!!!
Wore it with the black jeans.
Need a cream bra really and a cream cami set to go under it, but they don’t do them in my size anymore.
It has sold out in burgandy ~ you can still get it in silver or black.
This is great for a christmas party dress.
I altered this a lot.
I had to take it apart and re design it.
Remembered a few sewing skills from the past.
Can’t believe I managed to alter it so much.
One thing I remembered was making a little girl dress in Childcare at school.
Luckily it worked and I’m really pleased to have that memory back, it wiil come in if fashion that fits comes back if I want to take something in and create shape.
This has sold out, thought this was a repeat purchase type product.
Purchased two of these ~ think they must be really popular ~ I really like them.
Wore it over the dress.
This will keep you warm if it gets chilly at christmas.
I’m really pleased with this.
Suppose I could alter it, but I’m happy with it as it is.
Wore it with the skinny fit jeans, stripy top and a red and blue handbag from my wardrobe.
I think the stripy top makes my usual walking outfit look a lot smarter.
The handbag reminds me of my new morph palette.
I would wear boots with this but they don’t sell ones for small calves and ankles anymore.
I could wear it like this to go to a cafe or shopping.
These are great for around the house or walking in, but the striped one is a bit more stylish.

These are quite comfortable and I can actually get them over my hips. Think they must be fairly true to size.
Really good value for Ā£25 for a two pack.

Quite liked the coral lipgloss I got free wore it over the new no 17 lipstick.
Really happy with this result.
Have been using the Lancome skincare system and it actually does what it claims like face creams used to.
The packaging is full size which I haven’t seen since covid.
Did this look after I got to the end of my first Moisturiser cream; it has created a better base for my makeup.
Remember cleanse, tone and moisturise?
Works so much better for me finally found my Holy Grail product.

I don’t suit the makeup but I never do in these sort of gifts. Was worth it to discover the cleansing routine. Still haven’t used the serums. The mascara and eyemakeup remover are brilliant and still using the vanity case from last year.
Might get it next year to get a new case.
Was worth it just to find my Holy Grail.

Conclusion
This is taking a long time as I have to sew them together by hand.
Hope this inspires you until fashion that fits comes back.
To be honest I never had to alter fashion before covid.
I was really busy and overworked so I didn’t have time to alter a dress completely?
Suppose I did a few projects but not to this extreme.
I used to have a market stall selling 2nd hand clothes I’d altered when fashion didn’t fit last time. You didn’t have to alter them this much.
I had to remember skills I’d learned in needlework and childcare at school to alter these.
It has been great for my memory as I’d forgotten them.
Can’t believe I managed this but would still prefer fashion that fits properly to come back.
If you like any of these ideas I think what people want is experienced designers to come back and put these sort of clothes back in shops.
Or make the fashion items into paper patterns to make yourself at home.
Not sure how I managed to do this really.
Also it needs sewing together on a sewing machine now.
