Review

I love Barry M, so was really pleased to get this gift last year.

Kept the whole box all year, tried out only a few colours at the end of month parties; used Rimmel and Essie also.

As the shops have started stocking christmas gifts again, decided to declutter a bit of space for this years presents.

Have to laugh as I found a beauty blogger/creator on the internet who made jewellery out of blue and green nailvarnish.

As I hoard products I have hoarded some of the colours from this box that I will never use.

I think young goths would probably love the greens and blues so I can’t really fault this product.

I used to love black nailvarnish and dark blue nailvarnish until I discovered it stained your nails unless you wore a basecoat.

Then I just went off it and started going for pretty colours, tan colours to match fake tan and more traditional nailcolours instead.

Also christmas gifts often are a bit like this maybe to suit a wide range of tastes.

Today I threw away the greens and blues as I wouldn’t of purchased these colours.

I do however like the autumnal colours which I whouldn’t of purchased either. Hopefully one day I might get round to trying them all.

I love the pink colours and the lighter colours.

Also trying the hardener and base coat at the next party.

The box is still in good condition so I have filled the gaps with Essie and Rimmel.

If you are looking for value and no waste of money I can’t comment as haven’t added it up.

It only shows 24 shades here anyway.

The blue colours aren’t too bad as they are pastel blue.

The green is awful and didn’t like dark grey either.

The light grey might work as a primer like white so interested to try that.

Also if it was filled with just pink it would be too samey and a bit boring.

I don’t do nail art, but maybe that is who the green shades are aimed at.

They are perfect for flower stems and leaves.

Conclusion

I’d definately purchase this again.

I probably don’t need to get it again this year as I still have loads of the colours to try yet.

Quite like trying the beiges and browns as I wouldn’t of opted for them so is a bit different for me.

I think this is a favourite present for any girl or woman who likes doing her own manicures.

When you receive a gift you don’t really think how much it cost anyway do you?

Love the box also.

If you want to save money maybe purchase the colours seperately at Boots.

If you can purchase a gift box from somewhere you could create your own gift box or get a manicure gift box and pop some Barry M nailvarnish in.

I might do that for myself this year as I would like to get the gift box again but probably a bit daft.

The other thing to do is replace the green colours with ones of my choice.

Think I will do that.

Then get the Argos one when I need to restock.

Taking into account covid fashion, covid makeup and so forth I’d give this product 10/10.

Highly recommend it as a pleasing gift.

I like teenagers so get the green and even if it was all pink colours there would probably of been a few colours I wouldn’t of liked then.

Worth the money for all the joy it has brought.

Had a declutter ready for christmas and discovered some of the Barry M nailvarnishes in storage.

I worked out I threw away 7 nailvarnishes in green, blue and grey. Wonder if they were accounted for in the pricings anyway?

Will restock the case randomly probably.

Maybe the focus should be the fact that 23 were good colours.

It is definately one of my favourite presents from last christmas.

Edit

Repurchased the colours I threw away with colours of my choice.

These work well with Dark hair.

It might be too much to go with blonde hair not sure?

Will refill the box with these colours.

Before covid I did a manicure every week sometimes more than once a week.

Hope you like my choices if not click the link and make your own choices.

Have to say the pink sparkle suits everyone at christmas lol!!!

This is a christmas blog.
