SAPHIRES HAIRDRESSING SALON/END OF MONTH TRIM

My side lengths have grown out a lot now so started by trimming them to the same length.

One side was longer as I was growing them out.

Next I decided to trim the lengths.

I did it in sections like when you are using hair colour.

I don’t cut a lot off as I can’t do a style, but the split lengths keep getting longer every month so hopefully eventually it will all grow to the same length.

I’m wondering if to just keep it long now.

Before covid I used to have hairstyles but to be honest I think I like my hair long the best.

It looks really dry here, but think my amateur editing isn’t helping either.

I don’t look like a model and I don’t care really, why should models have all the fun lol!!!

Also I’m body dismorphic so if someone who looks like me is a model I haven’t to put myself down or it makes them feel negative about themselves. I used to get, ‘really silly’ but don’t do that anymore.

I hope this is more positive.

I like the length of my hair now, so plan to trim it this length every month, then hopefully the split lengths will eventually catch up.

Never thought just to have long hair, suppose that turns the covid brush into a positive.

Nourkin new hair growth

nourkrin-woman-60-tablets-(1-month-supply)

There is a decent amount of hair growth where I had bleach damage.

It is really short and fine.

Not sure how long before the Nourkin works, but nearly finished the packet I received and need to order more.

Wondering if it thickens the new hair growth a bit and encourages it to grow.

Think it just stayed short after the first packet of Nourkin, hopefully will keep taking it till these shorter lengths grow out.

The short lengths are growing out so might be the Nourkin.

If it all grows to the same length eventually not sure if I would suit that best or shorter side lengths?

I’m cutting the side lengths at an angle, then they curl under.

Dry hair cut, Keratase Conditioning

I finished off with Keratase at the ends to condition the new ends.

How to use

Apply 2-4 pumps depending on hair length throughout the lengths and ends of dry or towel-dried hair. Style as desired.

Mini review

I stopped using this for one shampoo, then used it with the next shampoo.

This really is a good product, would like to try more in the range.

Wonder if this is good for long hair as you have to work harder with long hair, suppose that was why I used to opt for bobs ~ easier to manintain.

All the models for this product that I have seen so far have long hair in the sunshine.

Like this product and the adverts.

This helps my hair as at the moment all the short hairs go curly and are itchy; if and when they grow out it will be a lot smoother. This product tames the split and broken ends.

It does seem to help the problems associated with long hair.

I have to say this product is expensive but no where near how much I used to spend at hairdressing salons.

If I see results by the end of this bottle ~ makes you think.

If you can’t get a hairdresser but have money for one ~ high end hair products is a good way to go.

If hairdressers ever come back all they will have to do now is trim my ends.

Conclusion

If you have had a similar experience to me during covid hope you are managing to cope too.

Hope this idea works for you.

I really enjoy writing this blog, love doing hairstyle ideas and home hairdressing.

Obviously a hairdresser would do a better job, but there isn’t much choice at the moment.

I remember coming out of a salon looking really good actually, then I’d wash it out and look awful again.

Think that was why I went so much.

Noticed bloggers do that before covid lol!!!

Suppose the whole world is having to put up with covid conditions so we are going through this together.

Enjoy Keratase if you fancy trying it.
