Next week is the August Holiday Abroad Party/Day off in The Slimming Calendar Party.
Basically it is your favourite drinks from abroad. Chose a few here but the possibilities are vast. The themes are Greece, Spain and Sweden. You can choose anything from abroad though like Mateus if you are doing the 70’s party. Loaded into homemaker tips for you to browse and collect if you want any for your drinks cabinet.
Decided to feature this every week as our drink choices may change from week to week.
I’ve discovered I’m not a wine drinker so gone back to 2 glasses a week and gin and slimline tonic.

This is just drinking wine & two Aperitifs
Saves 150 calories, switching back to more gin.
(Apparently wine pushes more toxins out after detox ~ still waiting for info. If this is true a wine week after detox is a good idea.)

Last year was salad ideas to refresh your palette for the day off next week, make room for all the treats.

We are just having Salad and chips with wine as it is The day off from The Slimming Calender next week; an August Summer Holiday Abroad Party.
Started to collect low calorie salad recipes in homemaker tips for you. Tried it with diet chips last week and a few glasses of wine. You just get a few chips when you weigh them out, but I think this will get me through summer and until food comes back and until the day off at the end of the month. Great Sunday Dinner, how it is served in Monte Carlo. Tried the goats cheese one ~ gorgeous ~ got red wine
Or you could do chicken, salad and chips.
We had this on Sunday and the chicken tasted really good. It had new packaging so was hopeful. We always get corn fed, but that hasn’t been there. Highly recommed Sainsburys corn fed chicken. You can eat it on it’s own with chips (weigh the chips if you are slimming) and salad as it tasted gorgeous.
This is a great meal option idea if you are slimming, the spritzer idea makes a small bottle go further. Having tinned fruit for dessert will save you more calories, you could do the low fat cream idea agian till christmas. Or get yourself into gear for Dry January.

The art song Tattoo if you think tattoos are art
This was a really big argument in The Times or similar paper, can’t remember which, when tattoed women started selling Mac Makeup and tatoos tried to go classic style.
I had a go of making art out of a tattoo ~ deleted that now. Lol!!!
Seriously it probably isn’t art, but it comes under the umbrella of art. Some tattooists are good at drawing, but they would need to go to art school to be an artist.
Don’t think anyone is bothered about being serious though, except Artists and Art connoisseurs. I’ve given up on Art since the Artisan movement.
