After discovering a look I used to do in 2000 and something. It is obviously a blur as all the platforms out there seem to want it like that.
The style was from the 70’s.

I didn’t do the curl look at the ends so am interested in experimenting with rollers, (I don’t use heat appliances anymore after what happened with bleach and straighteners; a hairdresser friend told me to stop bleaching it and I went back to brunette ~ miserable but she was right.
Hairdressers of yore would do chocolate and chestnut brown in winter, then highlights and blondes in summer; worked if you think about it.)

This is after I stopped bleaching my hair.
You can see the gaps and how flat it is to my head.
Still trying to grow my hair back.
Went to Vidal Sasson around this time, who cut it to a bob and used their more natural haircolour.
This is when I purchased an aromatherapy treatment book.
I made an aromatherapy hair mask that really hurt and I realised how much damage the bleach had done.
Then it soothed it and I decided to put myself first and stop following stupid platforms offering useless advice.
I’m doing this to help women out there like me.
I don’t make money and I’m supposed to give hope.
Final day of end of the month home hair trimming
I go a bit mad on the last day.
Decided to trim the ends anyway.
Also tried to cut some from the back ~ which is obviously hard to do when your cutting your own hair.
Then neatened off the pretty bits down the side of your ears.
After decluttering I rediscovered a Biotin Shampoo.

How to use
Apply generously to wet hair, massage into a lather through to ends, then rinse the hair thoroughly. After shampooing, follow with Thick & Full+ Biotin & Collagen Conditioner for best results.
The brunettes hair in Love they neighbour is full and bouncy so hopefully this shampoo will help.
I think you use hairspray if you use curlers ~ this holds the curl in place, may add bounce and is obviously better for fine or damaged hair than heat appliances.
After watching videos by hairdressers there seems to be a problem with rubbish products in the shop at the moment.
This was advertised in Elle pre covid so you should be allright with it if you are struggling with hair products too and have fine hair like mine.
I tend to use natural products but for photos you need a boots type styling product.
Really need a thickening mousse too, but a good one ~ will let you know if I find one.
Review of OGX
Woke up in the middle of the night and my hair looked a bit hairy.
Combed it through and it looks allright, it has created volume too.
Still got loads to grow out before I can do this hairstyle but feel a bit hopeful.

It needs to be the same length I think.
Conclusion
I’m not a model but I wish there were models out there that I could relate to and copy.
Will keep blogging ideas till covid goes away and the highstreet comes back.
I suppose we have to be patient as it takes time to put things right after a global pandemic.
Have to say I’ve always liked doing my own thing anyway as I’ve got a design degree and quite enjoy doing this sort of thing.
My ideas are quite subtle so nothing I do particularly stands out from the crowd or trends; maybe why I never got on.
Fine hair is a problem even if it hasn’t been bleached, so will blog any other soloutions for you.
Not using heated appliances has helped a lot also.
Will hopefully experiment more with aromatherapy in the future.
I will need an extractor fan first though so I can heat the products up on the hob.
Also hopefully books will come back too.
Hope this offers inspiration.

The seaweed works really well so keeping going with that.
