The 60’s Party is next weekend 29/30th March

These are the 60’s alcohol options.
I think most people opted for chicken and chips in the 60’s, we have been doing this option as it is available during post covid.
Or You could do fish and chips and Champagne like in the Entertainer.

Ripping Yarns starts this week as Potter ended last week

Ripping Yarns is a British television adventure comedy anthology series. It was written by Michael Palin and Terry Jones of Monty Python fame and transmitted on BBC 2. Following an initial pilot episode in January 1976, it ran for two series — five episodes in September and October 1977 and three episodes in October 1979. Each episode had a different setting and characters, looking at a different aspect of British culture and parodying pre-World War II literature aimed at schoolboys. In the title, “ripping” is a chiefly British slang colloquialism for “exciting” or “thrilling”, with “yarn” used in the sense of a story.

This idea came up in my play discussion from the Wednesday night play. Here Clint is playing the victim of a psycopath as oppose to a bandit.
Maybe the play is inspired by both of his roles?
Another favourite film.
I bought this off You Tube. The link above is a free version.

The Corpse (1971, Crubical of Horror) Michael Gough, Yvonne Mitchell, Sharon Gurney

This was part of the Anita Harris weekend that started off Weekend TV on Pinterest last year. The Anita Harris Weekend continues on Sunday and leads us into the 60’s party next week.

Boom Radio Station
Just realised you could use this radio station to exercise to.
Easier than making playlists yourself as they do it for you.
Will add the link to the April workout.

Just click the link above and it takes you straight through.
Then click on the dj of your choice.
or
click on the arrow of the current dj live at the bottom of the screen.
Quite good!!!!
(Salvaged this from pinterest from last year).
Review
I liked every song, wasn’t that bothered about the adverts, but they were quite short unlike the ones on radio one and two. Also it made me feel tuned into the world again.
To be fair to Boom radio the sponsers pay for this radio staion to be there for us.
There weren’t any repeat promotions of irratating songs either.
Also quite like how they store up recordings.
None of this is my generation, but I’ve been to pubs and clubs that played this stuff so it is more peoples memories and generations than they might realise.
10/10

Two adverts from when I still ate chocolate before honey and yoghurt (check out spring detox).
You could have this on your day off.
Conclusion
Got a few months to finish, then all the parties join up.
If you like this sort of thing it will always be here for you, as long as this type of social media is here anyway lol!!!
Hopefully pinterest will get sorted and I can link it all up.
Even if good tv comes back there is a lot of stuff we like collated here.
It is mostly free and I don’t get paid for selling anything, so just a bit of fun.
Just add your weekend fayre and favourite tipples and Enjoy!!!!
It is the 60’s weekend next weekend so will salvage more for you off Pinterest and launch it on WordPress TV.
Also got a humorous Wednesday Night play for you this week, if you fancy a drink and a play on Wednesday Evening.
All the plays are being archived in Playtime if you would like a weekend play instead or missed one.
Have a lovely weekend
