Read something last night on how the meaning of home spa has changed over the years and in some countries can mean just putting some nail varnish on.
This idea links to Boots Chemist in Britain and Rosemary Conley fitness of Britain.
Rosemary Conley videos are sometimes filmed in British health clubs or spa’s. Spas are global, but maybe called something else now?

February Home Spa Workout
The idea for this is therefore to make your routines like a Spa above, where you have exercise, healthy food, plan and achieve your personal goals, stock up on spa treatments for your problem areas, fit into a routine and achieve results with spa products.

This is sort of my goal for February, but you can interpret it to inspire your own goals.
Think what you want to achieve by the end of February.
Jot it down in your maintenance diary.
If you can’t get an actual journal or maintenance diary, I just use a plain notebook. (Ha Ha!! have to say I’ve invented a ruler from a sleep mask packet, like filo fax of yore ~ if shops don’t want our money, you sort of manage anyway).
Set your gym schedule by sourcing videos on collage video, change round your walk at home routine, change your walking route outside, change round your yoga routine, try spa treatments for firming, cellulite, slimming, winter dryness, dry skin brushing, moisturisers and so forth.
I hope to get on the floor to exercise again soon, but until then I have to exercise standing.
As I’ve been studying dance as a form of exercising abs, I’ve decided to keep doing this in February.
I’m also hoping to up my fitness levels ready for March in March.
After resting for christmas, then using January to get back into it, my goal is to loose some more weight in February.
Another goal is to straighten my back, have done quite well at this in January, if these are sounding like your goals you are welcome to join me in what I’m doing this month.

I usually have my second spa day on Saturday or sunday, depending on what I’m doing ~ you can have up to three spa days, but have a rest between facials or do a facial 2 days, then manicure, pedicure, cellulite treatments different days. Or do it all one day.

Not so boring Health Farm Fridge
Health farms sort of went away I think as they were too boring.

Stop fretting about yourself, start making changes in your fridge and jump aboard the slimming calendar ~ just do what you can ~ but in October commit to defy gravity ~ it will get you there.
You may need to start with March in March and build up.
If you have done slimming calendar last year, I have a feeling defy gravity will be different this year!!!!
Not so boring Health Farm Fridge
A health farm fridge is a good idea, but in modern times we can relax it a bit at the weekend by sticking to government guidelines and drinking in moderation.
(at the moment I have a calorie allowance, but don’t count alcohol calories at the weekend. They are just part of my overall weekly calorie allowance, have been trying this out and have been still loosing weight).
But don’t have snacks at the weekend as it can go out of control.
(You can have low fat crisps, but count them within your daily allowance.
Also you can have low calorie ready meals and low calorie chips ~ just make sure you calorie count).
Diet for the whole month, then have one day off a month where you eat anything you want.
(Have tested this out myself and it works ~ tastes better as well as you have waited so long).
Stop eating chocolate except for the end of the month day off.
Easier said than done.
I switched to turkish delight first, then divided it into three, then stopped.
I ate Turkish Delight for the first year though and lost weight.
I now eat yogurt instead, think someone laughed at this and I couldn’t care less let them laugh.
I’ve managed to create a yogurt that tastes like ice cream with superfood berries that helps you sleep better.
The yogurt is good for your skin, whereas chocolate isn’t good for your skin.
Water is also really good for your skin and mineral water contains minerals.
Before you drink that unhealthy drink stop.
Switch your unhealthy sugary drinks to mineral waters, there are loads to choose from, find your favourites, helps you rehydrate if you have sweated a lot in exercise.
Once your fitness levels go up you get really hot and naturally crave water; the water cools you down again as it is replacing the water your body lost from sweating.
Try a few health farm dishes of yore
Muesli is an obvious example.
Guess it was boring at a health farm as it was monotinously on the menu every day, but original health farm muesli now and again is really nice.
Used to have a recipe, but not sure I kept the book.
The muesli recipe was something like soaking oatmeal overnight, then grating apple into it, adding raisins and nuts, then serving with yoghurt.
Incredibly healthy and delicious now and again, but a grind if you had to have it every day.
The idea was just part of a two week health kick from a spa you could do yourself at home.
(Not sure what happened to these style of book ~ they seem to of mysteriously disappeared).
I’m retrying the detoxing the weekend idea, with herbal teabags.
Now I’ve upped my fitness levels, I crave water much more.
Hot water with lemon both hydrates and cleanses the system.
If you add a teabag it adds even more properties that are good for us, but if your not drinking alcohol or having any fun, why detox?
This is my theory, the nerd looked it up and discovered you can, ‘detox the weekend’.
I use twinnings.
They only had a few wellbeing teabags, but now they have loads and I vary them during the week ~ highly recommend.

They are a bit health farmy, but not boring as you know you have a fun weekend coming up at the end of the week lol!!!

The only one I struggle with is the sleep teabag, as I feel dopey the day after, maybe it effects you long term rather than immediately?
