Just noticed I hadn’t done this one even though I think it could be the Biba look. I bought some Biba at George at Asda but I’m not sure if it was for my figure type. I didn’t really get it, liked it though.
Wondered if I wasn’t wearing it right.
Just looked up the sizings of Biba ~ I’m a size 10 in it but my hips are 34

My goal is to get back down to size 8, but my hips stay at 34 or 33, which is size 6.
I’m not sure my waist goes down to 24.
I think this is why it doesn’t fit me.
As you can get the Biba Palette from Natasha Denona thought this might be popular.

Just found this mini palette

Tried the Frida look the other day and did it quite fast, so get how to use this palette.
Wondering if brunettes wore Biba?

You can’t get slim fit knee high boots, so think this is why I didn’t do this blog.

Love both these looks, but you can’t do them anymore.
Another look that never went away till covid.
Think this is a Biba fur coat.

Found a Biba fur coat.
I don’t suit longline, but it probably works if you are tall.
I wouldn’t purchase cream either.
It is supposed to be oversized, I used to have a black one that was mid length and oversized.
If you like this coat it is reduced quite a lot.

Basically I think this coat is for someone tall and blonde.
I think this might be the Biba Woman, but not sure?

Wonder if this is Biba makeup?
Like the brows
It is very similar to Barbara Daly at Tesco.
Think I’m verging to a Biba type of look for the 70’s party, Barbara Hulanicki is inspired by the V and A and Pre Raphaelites I think.

The Pre Raphealites inspired my degree, my art friend introduced me to them. They were classed as chocolate box art.
I like commercial art.
As an art student in England you are at the V and A all the time lol!!!
This episode is really creative and inspiring.

I love these type of blouses, I’d definately wear this, would prefer white now I know about colours, but this is white ivory so I like it.
I’m not sure Biba is the same now as the 70’s?
As I’m a shopping addict I’ve just done a Biba Shop. It is summer/sale instead of exact as I would buy this look but it isn’t there at the moment.

Biba Zip Front Jersey Dress
£21.00
£69.99

I’ve got a feeling this won’t fit me as I’m not the Biba Woman.
But I love these colours and they make me think of spring.
Description
Step into the new season with effortless style and comfort in the Biba Zip Front Jersey Dress. Perfect for spring and summer, this dress is designed to keep you looking chic and feeling comfortable, whether you’re on holiday or enjoying a day out. With exclusive Biba details and a versatile silhouette, this dress is a must-have addition to your warm-weather wardrobe.
Adorned with a stunning Biba foil print, this dress offers a unique and eye-catching design that reflects the brand’s signature style. Stand out with this exclusive print that adds a touch of glamour to any occasion.
Featuring a stylish Biba branded zip front, this dress combines functionality with fashion. The zip detail not only adds a contemporary edge but also makes it easy to slip on and off.
How to Style…
For the perfect finishing touch, style this dress with the new Biba straw handbag. The combination of the dress, Biba sandals, and the straw handbag creates a cohesive and fashionable look that’s perfect for any spring or summer outing.
I’m going for this dress styling idea.
I would hope this fitted and would like to wear it on holiday or for a countryside picnic and walk.
If I got my sewing machine I would just play around with it and alter it if it didn’t fit as I love the colour and design.
Haven’t got a clue how this will look on me.
For £21 it doesn’t matter really lol!!
Will get an idea of the sizings and style of Biba as I’ve ordered size 10s and size 8s.
Biba Cork Wedge
The Sandal idea to go with the dress/actually opted for wedges as all the sandals were more for evening wear.
£27.00
£52.99

These are really good value.
If the wedges don’t go with the dress I’d try flats.
Found these tops that might go over the dress, although the flared sleeves possibly don’t layer. The orange top goes nicely with the wedges.

Biba Leather Woven Clutch Bag
Then I’ve opted for a gold clutch with chain handle as I couldn’t find the straw handbag.

It has an effect of straw as it is woven.
This is more of a holiday look, but was really pleased to find a January sale.
It is unconsiously inspired by Cleopatra as I’m watching this film between writing blogs.
Either these will layer or create a capsule holiday wardrobe.
I’d wear the wedges all summer.
Think you need the frida Bronze makeup look to go with it if you are as pale as me, which can be created easily with the Natasha Denona mini palette.
What would set this whole look off is Coral in Gold lipstick from Rimmel.
They don’t stock it at boots at the moment, but you would feel like a 60’s Cleopatra.
Hope this inspires you.
Well worth trying Biba at the moment as the sale prices are brilliant.
The link below is to the Biba sale if you fancy a browse.
Conclusion
If knee boots come back this is sort of my look.
But I’d need it to fit 5ft4.
This look is a winter look and we are moving into spring, mind you it is still really cold, but you would purchase boots in Autumn in Britain, then they would see you through to spring or even summer depending on the weather.
You used to get ones like this at a shop called Dolcis.
If fashion comes back I’d definately purchase this look.
I like this episode because of the fashion.
I always opted for black or white fur coats though, not brown or cream, I actually got my winter colours right there without knowing it.
I also liked white leopard skin best and not yellow leapord skin.
The Biba Summer Sale Shop
As it is January and House of Fraser is British, was really pleased to find the January Sales of yore.
I’m not sure how, but I got drawn into doing a holiday shop at Biba rather than a winter shop.
I’m really pleased with the wedges and handbag and looking forward to trying the Biba sizings.
I ordered the Biba mini palette as I would like to try out Natasha Denona makeup.
At the end of the day I don’t think I’m the Biba woman, but I love fashion and shopping and the more I learn about fashion and makeup, the more it surprises me with what I can wear.
I love that Biba is inspired by art so I sort of want to make it work for me and find a way to be the Biba woman.
Hope you enjoyed this blog and you get some lovely fashion items from it.
Have a lovely Sunday
