Did this yesterday and was really pleased with it.
I don’t know what I’m doing, but it is safe as I just compile workouts made by professionals in the fitness industry for us to use in our own homes.
Thinking behind the pairing
As I guessed people would want a bootcamp style workout for January but I’d been given the theme Ballet Camp. I decided to go with Pilates and Lesley Sansone Pilates Walking at home.
I still can’t find information on why Pilates uses dance moves as it seems to of been created by gymnastics.
(This is the problem with an unregulated internet that can sometimes be accurate and sometimes not ~ a problem teachers encounter a lot with students homework).
Unless gymnastics uses dance terminology?
As I’m not an expert and all I want is to loose weight to fit fashion sizings and tone up and so forth ~ I will leave this study here.
Basically what I found was the dance terminology in Pilates for dummies, (which is American slang that doesn’t mean dum, and is lost in translation, so I ignore it), runs through Lesley Sansones 2 mile sweat video, therefore the Monday Workout has ballet running through it, but on a really do~able level for anyone.
I put the two videos together to make roughly a workout for 50 minutes.
If you add the Zsa Zsa Gabor weights and standing abs at the end you get a bootcamp type workout with a ballet theme.
Review
I really enjoyed it.
I really like all of the instructers and they made the workout go by without realising.
It wasn’t hard to do and I’m looking forward to doing it again.
I was actually aching and sweating at the end, but didn’t feel like I’d worked really hard or that it was so hard I wouldn’t do it again.
In fact I think I might need some magnesium spray around my midriff area to ease the aching.
The Standing abs was great.
The idea is ballet moves standing are better for your neck than crunches on the floor.
Conclusion
My only complaint was I struggled to find the abs workout at the end so I’m going to make a playlist.
I don’t have time to try these ideas out first so I am doing it live so to speak.
Hope this has inspired you to put your own routines together.
We are all different I suppose and have different exercise routines we enjoy.
I just share what I’m doing, so you don’t have to do everything I suggest.
If you prefer walking you are therefore still doing ballerina camp if you do 3 Lesley Sansone videos throughout January or do this on Monday and as many days walking as you please.
There are so many variations of walk at home you are sure to find a system that suits you ~ say 1 mile a day after a meal. (wait 1/2 an hour at least after a meal before exercising).
Or do 10 minute ballet dance on Friday followed by a 2 or 3 mile walk.
I’m doing 30 minute ballet dancing on Friday as Pump it doesn’t do spins. If you do spins every month it stops you going Dizzy.
I’m glad I could do pump it and did it because someone seemed to challenge me, but I prefer:

I recommend Dance Sculpt at 22.00
Then choose a Lesley Sansone (Pilates), walk if you prefer walking, but want a workout like Monday. It is the easiest routine, is ballet moves, but hard work.
I’ve stored Lesley Sansone Walks in Slim Cal Overflow, just scroll down and browse, spend a little time watching the videos first then decide what your custom workout will be ~ you can then save them into a playlist on You Tube.
The Monday Playlist ~ you can do any combination of this or the whole workout.
Not sure why it’s created the Happy New Year text?, but the playlist works anyway.
Hope you are enjoying January however you are doing it.
