A CHRISTMAS SLIMMING SURVIVAL FORMULA

Tried this out over Christmas to see if it works.

My family are quite fit so I don’t remember a Christmas where we didn’t go for a Christmas cross country hike over trecherous moors in blizzard or Steep Woodland treck, usually in high heeled fashion boots.

Unfortunately I have had eating disorders in the past, so I just stopped doing Christmas as I saw it as fattening.

Zenmass

During Zenmass I discovered from an American Fitness expert you can do Christmas and not gain weight.

I was on autopilot about to do a 4 mile power walk when I found this out.

A Nostalgic Christmas

This year I tried out Christmas without exercise for possibly the first time ever.

This morning I got on the scales with trepidation, but was happy to discover I haven’t gained any weight.

Did Christmas day to New Years day without exercise.

This means I can have Christmas again next year without exercising in confidence I won’t gain any weight.

YOUR CHRISTMAS SLIMMING SURVIVAL FORMULA

I’m not a fitness dictator this is just my findings from this year, you don’t have to follow it, I may even try something different next year, but this works and I know I can choose this option again if I want. Just sharing it with people who may be interested or want to maintain their weight over Christmas and not gain unwanted pounds.

How I did it:

Have 8 days off exercising from 25th December – 1st January.

Have one day off from slimming on the 25th of December ~ Christmas Day.

Drink in moderation for the 8 days, following government guidelines.

We drank our allowance on Christmas day and New Years Eve, (went over by a few as we shared a bottle of Asti on New Years Eve), decided just to forget about that and start afresh in New Year, haven’t gained weight so it doesn’t matter.

Also I went over my calorie allowance on New Years eve with diet cheese and pickled onions on sticks.

Or

Space your allowance out everyday over the 8 days.

Then eat diet crisps and chips and so forth keeping to your calorie allowance.

Conclusion

Maybe I’ll try something different next year, but I can copy this idea knowing it to work.

This looks a bit clinical and has its critics with Freudian scholars, but I’m finding weightloss is actual a science and you have to be this precise to get it to work.

In my experience of an average woman who used to join slimming clubs and so forth most women listen and learn, but there are awkward people who fight the knowledge and even become aggressive.

I discovered they liked eating and didn’t want to slim.

In that case don’t join a slimming club?

The only way to achieve successful weightloss is to listen to the qualified experts even if it means coming out of your comfort zones.

My problems have mainly been the opposite allowing myself rest and eating.

This christmas we mainly had a lovely rest, watched some nostalgic TV, had Chicken and Chips from the 50’s as we couldn’t get potatoes, then had a brilliant new year and discovered Asti ~ gorgeous.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ghost stories and managed to get a few liqueurs in.

Charting this knowledge for myself and anyone else interested.

If you are a teenager reading this you are fine drinking to excess, read it in a book and a nurse told me.

But if your not bothered to do that anymore this idea might suit you.

Will store it for next year ~ hopefully the experts will be back by then. Have found it really hard to work all this out and I still obviously don’t know that much compared to them.

Have to say I don’t want to be a fitness expert, just want it all to come back and I will follow them again.

Hope this knowledge helps.

Hope you achieve your fitness goals this year and now we know for sure we can have off in Christmas or any other holiday and just maintain our weight, but have some fun.

Enjoy your weekend
