I own a copy of this DVD, so knew it was good already.
Haven’t done it for a while so thought I would do a write-up.
I’m not sure what age range it is, but it is very similar to defy gravity so guess it is a similar age range.
What I like about this video is how women at home who might not want to take up kickboxing at a gym can get the benefits from kickboxing in the comfort of their own homes.
Kathy Smith adds glamour and cardio to the art of kickboxing and as usual, makes something really hard doable.
Similarities between Kickboxing and Charleston
First noticed this last month, but today noticed it again.
If you like dancing and Charleston, you may find you enjoy kickboxing. Not sure if there is a link, maybe martial arts inspired the dance?
Winter Warmer
If you are living somewhere cold this definitely warms you up.
I’m even wondering about wearing some shorts I purchased in summer as I’m getting ‘too’ warm.
Conclusion
I really recommend this video as it is really easy to understand.
The first time I tried this I surprised myself with what I could do.
You don’t actually become a boxer, but if all you want is to slim down a dress size and lose some weight, this is a really fun way to do it.
You do sort of wonder if you are learning a few boxing skills though, still, self-defence is a great skill for women to have anyway.
If you don’t think you can kickbox, think again.
Give this a try and surprise yourself.
Also, your dancing classes will of actually prepared you to kick.
Treat yourself and get those results for Christmas.
Enjoy!!!
