This is still hard to do so thought I’d put together a few ideas.
I’m just doing 7 looks as it is easier for the warehouses and shops to do at the minute.

The Powder Blue smart dress

chose a French Connection blazer dress
It isn’t powder blue, but out of the choices I felt it was smart enough for the office.
Cotton Blend Mini Blazer Dress

About this style
Embrace a tailored look in this cotton-blend blazer dress by French Connection. Shaping through the waist creates a flattering fitted effect, with double breasted buttons lending a smart, traditional look. Other neat touches include lapels at the v-neck, welt pockets and a contemporary mini-length hem.

I’d probably wear higher heels with it, I guess it might be longer on me. Realisticly with fashion the way it is, if it was too big or short I’d wear it as a jacket or trench coat without a back flap.

The brown shoes work really well. If it fits as a dress, I would team it with some like that.

Black and bronze patterned silk blouse

Found this which is a dress, but has a similar feel to it.

If your not happy with the fit you could make it into a top and skirt or mini or midi dress.
The fabric looks easy to alter if you are not a seamstress.
There is a chance this might be a nice dress.
Depending on how it is constructed you could even take the sleeves off and wear a top over it.
About this style
This jacquard dress from Nobody’s Child is woven with a crinkle spot design for a touch of texture. It’s designed in a regular fit with an elegant tier on the midi-length skirt. A square neck and tie at the back give a feminine finish.

Pink nightdress

It hasn’t got the hood, but you could wear it over a dress.

Teal and multi coloured Bohemian Hippy dress

velvet-embellished-v-neck-maxi-waisted-dress

The velvet and pattern fabric are in reverse, but this is pretty similar ~ even to perfectionists.

This is great if you are a 70’s hippy type.
It would go well with 70’s tight-fitting knee boots.

It might need hemming if it is just for height 5 ft 9.
About this style
Make an entrance at your next special occasion in this embellished velvet maxi dress from Monsoon. It’s designed in a comfy regular fit, with a stand frill collar, a notch v-neck, and full, gathered long sleeves. A Dress that is a painting

There are a few options for this concept at Monsoon
I chose this one.
It isn’t a painting as such, but it is tribal symbols as oppose to flowers, so thought it was witch like.
Printed Metallic Midi Waisted Dress

About this style
Shimmer your way through your next event in this showstopping sleeveless dress from Monsoon. It’s designed in a regular fit and has a flattering waisted silhouette that falls to a sophisticated midi length. The round neckline and front of the dress are detailed with intricate metallic embroidery for a touch of sparkle.

This one is really stunning also.
It almost is something other than a dress.
The flowers are like pagan flower symbols.
Embroidered V-Neck Blouson Sleeve Midi Tea Dress

It is completely different but has a 70’s feel.

It is more like a painting as it is enlarged almost.
I think this is probably really hard to wear.
But witch like.

Powder blue Knee length dress

Couldn’t get this colour or style but found this
Satin V-Neck Mini Wrap Dress

This Sosandar dress is made from luxurious satin fabric that flatters your body in all the right places. It’s cut to a regular fit, with an elegant wrap-over front and a v-neckline. Ruching lends a soft drape to the mini skirt. The long sleeves are finished with neat buttoned cuffs.

Conclusion
Hope you like this TV fashion.
It needs a lot of other clothes to set it off, shoes and jewellery and so forth, but it is a starting point with 7 items.
They are all easy to alter yourself if you are like me with limited knowledge of sewing and don’t live in a designer city with seamstresses or believe in paying extra when you have paid a lot already.
If shops brought back L, R and S you wouldn’t need a seamstress.
Luckily Sainsburys and George have so I have some leggings to work out in.
I love her makeup also and was thinking how you need a makeup look to go with some of these outfits.
Have a great Sunday
