tv fashion/series one episode one/lady killer/classy look

I opted for this classy look as it is so popular now.

This is actual classic style meets trends breaking the rules.

The top and coat are classic but the earrings and hairstyle are breaking the rules to extremes.

Went to M & S, the home of Classy, and found a coat I hope you like.

Pure Wool Longline Tailored Coat

I think this looks quite good as it isn’t too flared.

Crafted from pure wool, this smart tailored coat from Hobbs is a luxurious choice for chilly days. It’s cut in a timeless longline silhouette, with a neat collar and concealed button fastenings for a sleek look. Side pockets add a practical touch, while buttoned cuffs create a refined finish.

Then I chose a navy one for winter colours as navy is classy also.

Wool-rich-belted-wrap-coat

Wrap up in sophisticated style with this wool-rich coat from Ted Baker. It’s made in a regular fit, with a flattering belted waist and a warm collared neckline. This piece is complete with side pockets for storing essentials.

I would wear this over trousers and not a skirt.

I Chose some blazers below you could wear with short dresses or trousers.

Wearing them over jeans breaks the classic rules, (the models are wearing it in this style).

I wouldn’t wear it with light blue jeans as I don’t think it would work on me, I’d wear it with black jeans as they are winter or dark navy blue ones.

Slim Single Breasted Blazer

As I don’t suit beige I looked up navy,

I’d wear this over smart trousers or a smart dress.

It comes in Black also.

This isn’t exactly the same, but it is under the bracket of classy.

There is no point in buying a colour that doesn’t suit you.

These jackets will work really well with the air hostess scarf.

I’ve opted for this roll neck as it needs to be tight to fit under the jacket or coat.

Comes in 8 colours

This jumper from our Autograph collection is crafted from pure cashmere for a supremely soft feel. It’s designed in a regular fit and features a timeless roll neck. Autograph: premium investment pieces featuring contemporary cuts and refined finishing touches.

I’ve chosen black as it is winter, but it also goes well with the camel coat.

The last roll neck I got was really itchy, so cashmere is supposed to be soft.

Variation on breaking the classic style rule

Browsed the Marks and Spencer jewellery and opted for bangles. I opted for bangles instead of earrings as I can’t wear earrings due to being a goth as a teenager, but won’t bore you.

Bangles probably don’t go with the sleeve lengths.

You break this rule by ruching up the blazer sleeves, which is on trend at the moment like the earings.

If you don’t like the two together you could do it once for a photoshoot. But then add the bangles to a trendy look and wear the blazers in the traditional classy way.

I quite like this as it makes you think outside the box and is fun.

Browsed the Marks and Spencer jewellery and opted for bangles.

The link below is to all the bangles, I guess gold is the most popular colour, I chose silver as it is winter colours and the beige one as it is just a hint of classic beige, so I should get away with that rather than full on beige.

Probably wouldn’t wear a necklace and a scarf together either.

I would wear each bangle separately to match a scarf or blouse.

Silver Tone Hinged Bangle

A staple silver polished bangle with a hinged opening for easy wearing.

Square Resin Bangle

A square resin bangle is the perfect addition to stack with other bangles or wear on it’s own.

Conclusion

I was pleasantly surprised with this shop.

It goes really well with the air hostess look and Armani Carpathian Eagle look.

You really need trousers, blouses, skirts, and shoes and so forth also, but we find they prefer you just to order a few items at once as it is easier for them.

What would work really well is to start adding colour and a bit of pattern even, but you have to be careful with colour and pattern if you are going for classy.

But if you know the classy rules, you can then break them, so you may come up with an idea where pattern meets classy or if it comes on trend you can enjoy seeing what the shops and designers have done.

As classic clothes tend to be so expensive, adding a trend to them keeps your wardrobe fresh and exciting.

Once you’ve invested in the classic piece, it can then save you money.

These are just ideas, if you are spending up to £300 on a coat it is worth thinking it through a lot before you purchase as it is to last you years.

I feel like I’m getting more on track with classy after admitting I don’t suit beige.

I love the camel coat style, but you can do classy with black or navy also and that coat is a different style.

Choosing a colour that suits you is important too, especially if you are spending a lot.

Hope you like Thriller Fashion No 1.
