Last month was a 1-mile walk in the morning challenge.

In October keep the challenge going by repeating September but adding on 1 more mile.
i.e.
If you did 7 miles in September aim to do 8 miles in October.
Repeat the September challenge but add 2 miles to one of the days instead of one mile. (do it the day before your weigh in for added incentive).

Add the Saturday walk club to the August challenge.
If you keep adding a bit each month in small stepping stones you will be a pro walker in no time.
If you already are now ~ think about purchasing a stepometer and doing 10,000 steps a day.
Remember what Jessica Smith advises though and if you have a day when you can’t get the steps in be flexible with it and just use it as a guide.
Slimming Calender Outline from October to January
I’ve been treading water a bit with my weight loss, but I have been maintaining. If you don’t feel like slimming sometimes, maintaining is quite a good idea. Just keep your calorie intake regular and stop reducing calories.
As Christmas is in a few months The Slimming Calender will be doing a weight loss challenge in November.

October is beauty in the October slimming calendar with Countess Dracula, followed by slimming in November to drop a dress size for Christmas.

What You Need to get in if you are doing the November challenge:
Kitchen Scales
Hand calculator
food diary or notebook
pencil and rubber
You might have these already, I think I might need to get all of it unless I have it in storage.
We definitely don’t have kitchen scales.
We are ordering some from the supermarket.
What the October Goals are in The Slimming Calendar
To get your beauty regime back on track with Countess Dracula.
If I were a witch on Halloween, I would prefer to do beauty like Countess Dracula, so thought I would leave the Halloween pranks to teenage boys and concentrate on beauty products and rituals that claim to keep us young.
Like the cellulite creams, it only works if we use it, so October is about getting it into a routine and finding the products that work for you.

The exercise routine will stay the same in October, but the cardio will change and there will be a different dance session each month on Friday.

You can do what I’m doing if you want as I will upload it as usual.
Conclusion
It has taken a few years, but I feel like I’m getting my exercise routines back together again.
I used to maybe overtrain, so the current news on not overdoing it, has really helped me to redesign how I exercise.
Hope the September challenge has worked for you and given you a direction to go with your exercise in October.

As well as potions to keep us young, I will be doing a beginner’s guide to makeup where I learn how to do makeup from the beginning. I’m just making a mess at the minute, so hopefully I will learn something and do a better job of it lol!!!

There are also more advanced stuff out there you may end up doing, but you need to start off with something and this routine is perfect.
Just to finish with a tip I’ve remembered from my old yoga teacher, ‘never compare or compete with yoga’
The point is we are all different, with different abilities, so what one person excels in the other person might be rubbish at, and vice versa.
I’m useless at doing the high jump because I’m small, but I excelled at the 100 meters.
I find I like small bursts of exercise and then resting.
Other people might not find this enough and prefer marathons.
The yoga tip extends out into all areas of life if you meditate on it.
Maybe the art of getting it right is finding your own personal exercise style, then going more in that direction.
