Had yet another declutter and this time found a bottle of Obsession. I have sensitive skin, but I decided perfume was worth the slight stinging sensation.
Of late my skin has got tougher maybe as I can handle more perfume than I could before.
I used to fragrance layer obsession.
Remember bathing in Obsession, then using Obsession body cream then finishing with Obsession perfume.
It was in a hotel in Paris we had upgraded to four star from a two star hotel using some skills I learned from working in the holiday industry.
Had to laugh, as the morning of the upgrade they were playing Hotel California in the breakfast lounge ~ says it all.
(you can checkout _ but you can never leave).
As we watched the downtrod guests slurping their cornflakes, I thought to myself we are leaving).
The four-star hotel was top-notch. They even had a steam vacuum cleaner.
The manageress called me Madam.
Hope I get my spark or spunk back, have to put up with all sorts because of rubbish COVID-19, that I wouldn’t of before.
Got a few chortles the last time I told that story.
Can’t remember why I first bought Obsession, but thought it tied in with this weeks weekend films due to Frantic being based in Paris.
The Parisien Hotel in Frantic

Harrison Ford didn’t have that good a time either.

Packing the luggage to go to the upgraded hotel.
Film fashion

A lot of size 6 women would probably kill for this dress in saggy crappy post-covid Britain.
This is stylish here but trashy to Americans who prefer women with massive boobs. (discovered this while being stalked and online bullied by someone who is now annoying just about everyone).
I also had a horrendous psychic experience in Paris which I don’t want to talk about actually.

Found this deluxe set and it is new.
Think this may be similar to what I had.
Really good value.

Conclusion
Films and perfumes can bring back memories that are locked inside.
Everyone loves Paris, think it is a lot of peoples favourite city.
Frantic shows a worse side to the French capitol that most of us didn’t know about until watching the film.
Obsession will always remind me of Paris now.
Maybe Frantic reminds you of a holiday in Paris and memories of what perfume you were wearing on that trip.
In a world where we are all supposed to be perfect and look a certain way in dumpy underwear, Obsession allows us to feel dangerous, depraved and uncaring. We can escape into our darkest dreams and forget perfection.
What is perfection anyway?
The moments when the outside world and its unrealistic expectations dissolve in an addictive film, glass of alcohol or strong intoxicating perfume, then we are real again.
Hope Frantic on weekend films brings back memories for you of past experiences in Paris and perfumes you may of forgotten.
Hope you enjoy your weekend
