Having found the black slub T-shirt, I thought I was doing well.
Realised I hadn’t tried on the white slub T-shirt.

This has sold out anyway.
I ordered size 14 as today’s sizings are anyone’s guess and never what it says on the tin ever.
I guessed this was a baggy-style t-shirt and not a tight-fit style.
To be fair to the black one you can wear it like the film fashion one because you can’t see where the sleeve starts.
The white one is size 14 or is it?
Completely bamboozled.
The white one doesn’t work as a fitted baggy t-shirt anyway?
The shoulders are too big on me and it is loose on me.
Will play around with it and try and make it work.
Trickier than the black one that is no hassle at all.
Already noticed it might possibly layer.
You need to layer this whether it fits or not as it is seethrough.
With t shirts it isn’t as problematic as bras.
Looked again and it might work layered.
Wonder if that is why proper fashion editors used to tell you to opt for black as it is more slimming.
Fashion has always been tricky to get right when you look back.
This will go into storage till I get a sewing machine.
Still Using the handbra idea gleaned from Suzanne Danielle in its a knockout

Suzanne Danielle modelling an idea by a fashion editor of the 80s of what to do with 100 percent oversized ill-fitting white T-shirts.
This morning with day one of the August Challenge, have to confess to using a hand bra for the high-impact moves.
Even women with small busts need a bra.
There is some weight and jiggle.
Ha Ha!!!
Did you used to use that technique in bed when you were worried about the impact from bouncing lol!!!
The only problem here is you can’t then bounce with your hands in the air.
I’m still not fit though, so guess it is better I do something rather than nothing.
Quick fit actually recommends you bouncing as this is what helps you loose the excess pounds.
Black Ribbed Scoop Neck Vest

Haven’t blogged this one as wasn’t sure.
Now I’ve worked out the bra blunder realise this is supposed to be a little cami top.
I bought it in size 12 which would have fitted pre covid as I’m still trying to lose weight. This must really be about size 16 maybe? who knows? it is possibly too long also.
As I’m trying to loose weight still and exercise at home, not gonna get upset about this.
I would of worn this for best before if it fitted.
Just use it for exercise, decided not to bother recommending it as this is definitely wrongly sized.
It looks like a man’s vest on someone skinny?
It would suit someone size 16 maybe, but they wouldn’t know to purchase it in size 12?
Doesn’t this blue chip company want to make sales?
I buy everything myself and don’t make any money doing this, so I can afford to be honest.
No free rides here.
Which brings me round to Jane’s July and a Star buy that is doing it for me, I can tell you.
These look a bit strange and I was worried about the elastic in July, but I put them on and did the last Jane’s July with great trepidation. To be fair to me with all the fashion blunders out there of late.
Needn’t of worried, should have tried them out sooner.
Compared to the heavy-weight shoe I’ve been struggling in, (not sure what they are actually?).
These were a delight to wear and work out in.
I felt light-footed.
Even managed to jog and do some of the high impact.
Not sure why people have been mean about Jane Fonda’s workouts?
I think I’ve got the lower-impact versions maybe ~ but they are fantastic.
Maybe you agree with me if you have been trying them out.

There are still some of these left.
Highly recommend these.
They don’t cost much and look strange, but new trends often do look strange if you remember.
They don’t come up large?
They fitted my size exactly.
They come up regulated size.
Going to try some more sports shoes I’ve just seen, will let you know what happens.
Conclusion
I don’t lie because I don’t have to.
If someone reset the fashion machines to the right sizes people could get clothes that fitted properly again.
If the future is mail order, this really needs to happen even more than before in shops, as you can’t try the clothes on first.
La Redoute used to have this to perfection before COVID fashion.
It was a slim fit mail order company for average-build women, just about everything fitted and was good quality.
I don’t think fashion should be a detective game like Sherlock Homes. Someone was saying that about society the other day on the news.
Have to admit to being an Agatha Christie fan, but I agree with the presenter, I just want to get my life back and go shopping again or on holiday in Britain and so forth.
If we are supposed to know seaside towns and get the names right why aren’t we allowed to travel more around our own country?
If I need new clothes I should just be able to type in my size then get the clothes sent out and they should fit. Easy as that.
Not play detectives with large shoes and massive bras wrongly sized up?
Asked if it was going to get any weirder and apparently this is nearly the weirdest it is going to get ~ let us hope so.
Enjoy your day
