This week decided to do L occitane after remembering being offered a job at the store in Glasgow.
As I couldn’t find it anywhere else I looked up French perfume and discovered Cologne and cotton. This reminded me of a local department store we used to shop in that sold this and Je Rievens.
Quite a different shop this week looking forward to trying it all.
Wonder if the French countryside has a lot of olde world villages with old perfume shops and so forth. We have or used to have old villages like that in England. Some even had original witchcraft shops. Suppose they will have gone now and been replaced with overpriced Artisan. Hope not. Would like to go to the French countryside. We went on a train through it once, definitely on my wishlist of places to visit.
L Occitane

The next perfume, Ambre, is one of my favourites. A lot of the ones I was going to purchase aren’t there anymore or at the moment. I used to wear this in the daytime. Amber is one of my favourite scents. It reminds me of being a little girl and I love it.

I haven’t tried this one, was going to get saint tropez or something like that? can’t remember, but went for this one instead. Love citrus scent too. I used to grow lemon balm herb and wonder if it will be a bit like that. You just pull a leaf off the lemon balm herb and it releases a lovely citrus aroma. Would love to go to provonce and smell the Verbena.

Think I bought a perfume to use as well, no I didn’t looking back. Think that is a good idea as you will want to try what you are collecting. Will order a bottle when I do the spa shop for the slimming calendar.

Conclusion
Quite glad you can only get L Occitane from their shop at the moment as it led to a virtual journey to the French countryside.
Equally glad it led to two iconic fragrances.
Not sure what to collect, maybe the gift boxes, these are Iconic fragrances that are going to go on and on, so plan to wear most of these.
Hopefully as the Perfume Junky goes on it will makes sense what to collect.
Wonder about collecting the free gift from L Occitane.
I guess limited editions and one off products might be collectible.
At the end of the day we want to wear the perfume also so you might not have to get too precious with it.
Waking up with a shower that is reminiscent of the French countryside sounds lovely.

Found a recipe for Goats cheese salad that is low calorie. Am trying it tonight with be good to yourself chips which is how to serve it in France. Have posted the recipe in homemaking tips and will try and collect different salad recipes. This is quite a nice idea for summer Dinner until food comes back served with a good wine.
