Sunday Shop/perfume junky

It started with Tom Ford last night.

I went a bit wrong at first, but then found Tom Ford at Fragrance X.

I’d bought a few men’s perfumes at first. Fragrance X, explained which each fragrance was whether it be for women, men or unisex.

Some women prefer men’s aftershave but I don’t.

After watching Dick Emery on Saturday tv realised what unisex is, so opted for some unisex perfumes as opposed to men’s lol!!!

I then went on to do price comparisons between Tom Ford and Fragrance X, which were really fun as some items were cheaper on Tom Ford.com.

In the end, I made different choices to what I originally went for.

I loved just reading about the different perfumes and felt transported to a turquoise sea with white sands surrounded by flowers and fruits in full bloom.

These were my choices:

One of my unusual choices was bitter peach

Notes of pêche de vigne and blood orange oil release the slick sweetness of Bitter Peach at its luscious peak. A sensual heart of this perfume is revealed through rum-infused davana oil, while a surge of patchouli lures senses to the furthest reaches of inner sensuality and abandon.

Was just going for Gold or turquoise bottles when I got drawn into this. Peach is my favourite fruit fragrance in shower gels so thought I would try this perfume.

With the price comparisons, I decided to try the 10ml first

Then it worked out better value to purchase Fleur De Portofino from Fragrance X

Evoking petals cascading from the white acacia trees dotting tranquil Mediterranean gardens, the Fleur de Portofino fragrance opens with a blend of citrus essences wrapped in violet leaf. Combining notes of cassia tree and mimosa, enigmatic white acacia gives way to a delectable honey accord.

Even enjoy just looking at this photograph and reading the description.

Would like to purchase the collection, but Fragrance X helped me decide where to start.

I was also drawn to this one

Soleil Brûlant captures the high-shine brilliance of the golden sun beaming on a private oasis. Sun-kissed citrus mingles with spices giving way to an ornate and regal floral heart—while orange flower absolute and black honey release a seductive vapor, melting into the burnished warmth of amber.

and this one was better value at Tom Ford

Velvet Orchid lives in Black Orchid’s world of glamorous mystique, while exuding its own ultra-feminine essence. Lavished with shimmering freshness, honey, rum and a dramatic floral veil, a new character emerges: one that pulls, rather than pushes; elegantly refined and polished.

Have to say I’m not very good at price comparisons, but I love this type of shopping experience when you have a guide.

It made me think things through and it extended the shopping time so you got retail therapy out of it.

I was then drawn to the £10 and under section at Fragrance X

Was starting to feel I was spending too much, but didn’t want to stop shopping.

This reminded me of being in a shopping center; when you have shopped till you dropped but want to go on just a bit more.

Really enjoyed this as well

My choices are in perfume Junky archive

Can’t believe the value at Fragrance X

All the perfumes are real as well and not knock off.

Conclusion

Really glad I have discovered perfume Junky. Until fashion comes back I can get retail therapy from this.

With perfume I can get seratonin release just from looking at the bottles and reading the descriptions.

When warehouse staff get treated properly again, we might actually get actual products again.

It is sort of the obvious answer to this problem.

If shops sold what people actually wanted to purchase, we would buy the products then the money would flow into the buisnesses and the people working in them could pay their staff proper wages.

Plastic prevents poverty.

Also it is a lie about plastic.

Hope you got a bit of relief from this. I enjoyed it last night. We had a really nice time and I got enough seratonin release from my Mcdonalds, crisis over.
