Got out again this week and trialled out a few makeshift running tracks and steep hills for hillwalking.
Did a few laps around this tree.

It was fairly quiet, but I don’t suppose people mind you jogging as they probably all want to get fit too after lockdown.
Think it would be better if I had some cool jogging pants and trainers and a sports hoody.
1 I would look the part
and
2 It is getting a bit warmer so I got a bit too warm today.
Luckily we are losing weight, so will browse my storage for cooler clothes, hopefully get into my old summer hoody and see what else I can find.

Found this steep hill that leads to a car park behind a village hall, quite enjoyed power walking up it. The added bonus is knowing it is getting rid of my covid weight.
Jack Hargreaves
After moaning about Sunday day-out villages disappearing and their pubs and restaurants switching from British Sunday Roasts to frozen meals warmed up, discovered Jack Hargreaves’s pub crawl.
He is a really interesting character from old British TV.
Started both a study on him and the knowledge he imparts, his tv programs have been restored and well worth a watch.
Will be showcasing his ideas in the future on slimming calendar end-of-month parties.
If this kind of thing interests you, think you will enjoy my collated research.
Just today we noticed a Victorian pub, (have actually been in it and didn’t realise it was Victorian, might explain why the interior had a strange layout, remember an unusually large table), and some very old buildings, we never thought that much about before.
And The pub named after Prince Albert, been there too.

Frequented this loads as it is so gothic.

Hopefully discovering Jack Hargreaves leads to some much needed post covid fun.
From this video discovered we actually have a Royal Oak pub in our own town. Would never have started this journey without this video.
Also collecting traditional Roast recipes in slimming calendar. You may want to try them out too.
If you are a bit off meat-eating from the vegan revolt, the slimming calendar will hopefully change your mind and make you feel comfortable with eating it again.
Conclusion
The fitter you get the hungrier you get, so what you need is a pub or restaurant selling good old traditional sunday fayre, to consume after your trek.
Will hopefully take an Instagram of one soon.
Must admit exercise and Jack Hargreaves have taken my mind off not being able to get clothes, but I still desperately need some new clothes. Everyone needs fashion if you think about it.
Hope this offers some inspiration for you and that everything comes back soon.
