Found the stylish Abba look on Top of the Pops fashion from last years parties. When I started doing film fashion pointed out how I would do the looks as classic ideas and not do fancy dress.
As I already have some clothes like Frieda thought I would start with her look, then do Agnetha for the next 70’s party. Realised I might suit her look better as blonde and dark hair are winter, where Frieda is red and Autumn.
Got some more colour theory ideas for you on why to cheat colour theory and why and when to use it.
Although Abba are well known for outrageous costume, discovered they also did fashion, Frieda particularly likes following fashion trends.
Quite a good find for people like me doing film, tv and music fashion blogging.
I think if you like Abba ott look you should definitely go for it and enjoy yourself.
This is their stage look where they really wanted to stand out on stage.

In summer night city, they are wearing trendy fashion for a disco
Here is the beginning of the Frieda collection of stylish trendy Frieda 70’s fashion that will always stay around as they work so well.
This is a great look if you are in a campervan or yacht and find a disco, could happen, think there are still some discos. We found one once in Glasgow.
You could still get the Agnatha look at Jayne Norman, so realise it is a style icon.

Love this look from last years Top of the pop parties. This is really stylish, but has a rock and roll edge, would definitely wear this.
This proves Abba did stylish as well as Ott.
With these looks you will look stunning but no one will ever guess you are doing Abba, so you won’t look like you are at a fancy dress party.
If you are going to an Abba fancy dress party you can do a few cheat ideas so you look like you are abba at a fancy dress party.

Love this colour but it isn’t winter, wonder if winter can wear it with a fake tan though.
Would prefer this with a belt, but friedas hasn’t so really accurate.
Also opted for this
As it will suit my winter colours if the brown one doesn’t – this one is a bit ott actually.

This maybe goes better with the red coat, but The Frieda look is vast on having a quick browse.
A vast wardrobe is the goal so the more colours the better, especially with Barry M nails.

At the moment I would recommend following the slimming calendar and getting back into an old pair – you will also feel really good about yourself. Frieda is so happy and full of life, so this is part of how you will get this look!!!
I‘m not a fitness expert but the slimming calendar is your slimming buddy. It has been proved that slimming with other women is more effective than doing it alone.
Enjoy end of dry January festivities then get back on with it.
70’s necklace
Think it is a 70’s take on Native American indian
This isn’t exactly right but thought it had a 70’s feel and was tasteful, it also matches the autumn colours.

These colours match the jacket and are boho – guess boho and rock and roll can overlap a bit sometimes.

Conclusion
This is the start of 70’s fashion to wear at 70’s parties. Abba are still really popular and I guess their style will always be iconic and will reuccur in British fashion forever.
Saphire blogs will concentrate on their trendy looks, but you could go more stage and costume with it.
They have so many looks it is brilliant all the inspiration you can find.
Frieda is a red head, so this look might suit your colourings brilliantly and really bring you out.
If your not a red head but love any of these styles, you should consider why you love the colours so much.
Think Frieda is an Autumn look, which I’m not but love it as I love all the seasons. I will probably suit the winter colours look better, but will feel sunnier in the Autumn look.

When should you ignore colour analsis in my humble opinion?
I discovered colour theory from an influencer blog who didn’t like her colours and liked green. Think she was almost angry and definately irritated by it.
I went to a promotion about it once, just to make up the numbers and was honest from the start had no intention of working cash in hand for comission. The woman promoting colour theory might of been under a lot of pressure to sell.
Have to say that aside, the influencer did suit her colours, but didn’t look terrible in green.
I found I’m not willing to give up on khaki or turquoise and gold and so forth.
This morning remembered colour therapy.
This is a whole new territory.
The influencer obviously felt something from green.
Green obviously is the colour of nature, so she maybe felt calm in it and so forth.
I like turquoise and gold as it makes me think of summer and medditeranean beaches.
From this discovery I think you should wear whatever colour you want and not be too strict with yourself.
When should you use colour analysis?
On the otherhand if you want to stand out, make an impression are having a photoshoot and so forth, you will be in the mood to look your best and this is the time to use every trick in the colour theory book.
Really pleased I remembered colour therapy, this is a blog in itself, hope it makes people happy with colour. Maybe if analysists added colour therapy as another string to their bow might work better as a holistic approach to colour.
Hope you like the Frieda look.
Hope you like some of these ideas to jazz up an old pair of jeans in a post covid world where fashion is sparse and hard to find.
Will start working on the Agnatha look for the next 70’s party.
looking forward to the end of dry January and having a bit of fun.
Will launch the party before next weekend.
(not long to go!!!).
