Thought I’d tell you about an old discovery I had forgotten about.
Whilst browsing Boots online one day I discovered the brand’s directory from a – z, if you click on B it brings up Boot’s own products.
I used to shop in boots after work, (for hours), doing retail therapy. Would purchase expensive products, but would also fill my basket full of boots own make. Shopping online, I tend to get drawn into things I don’t want or are too expensive, finding boots own make is a bit like shopping in boots after a miserable day at work.

Today when I was doing my home spa hair treatments I needed to crack open a new microfibre hair turban from my storage collection.
I opted for the boots own make one.
Then I realized this one might suit women with thick hair better.
It is a comfier fit with the most fabric out of the three I have tried from boots.

It is possibly too big for me as there is a lot of spare fabric. If I pull it tight it looks better.
But I’m not bothered about it being too big as it makes it really comfortable. This might suit you if you are tall or have thick hair.
How to use
Bend over & flip your hair over your head. Put the turban on, with the button at the back, and tuck your hair into the front & sides. Twist the front of the turban a few times so it feels firm around your head. Find the buttonhole at the end of the twist. Lastly, flip the twist over your head and secure it at the back with the button. Leave to dry after use.

The products aren’t very expensive, but really good quality. Used to go mainly for their products at boots pre covid shops. It meant you could get a massive bag full of products for less money.
Great way to stock up on your home spa day.
Not sure if Boots is in America, but it will probably work the same with your version of Boots, which is a mainstream chemist/drugstore.
The only problem is the online basket. It used to be one of the best online baskets, but it got changed and is really slow and hard to use, some days I just give up on it and shop elsewhere, shame as you could do the online boots own make shop otherwise.
Boots own make is also an affordable way to sustain spa blogs, it means you save more money to put towards expensive purchases.
Think I will have to blog these as I try them.
Still waiting for my last three orders, need to receive them before I purchase more.
Not sure why they don’t want to sell their products?
This is another problem the banks and government must be worried about. Boots obviously mustn’t be paying as much business tax into the economy, but also as Boots isn’t taking customers’ money, that money isn’t going into the economy either?
Have to say as a consumer who was a weekly customer at Boots, really unsure about what is happening?
It must be losing trillions at the moment.
Conclusion
Hope this gets rectified soon. Boots own make isn’t a luxury item really, it is just sort of there, and where everyone in Britain does their weekly toiletry shop, either boots or Superdrug, (which doesn’t deliver either?). Hope better makeup colours come back also and better quality ones.

The tights are still freaky, hopefully it will be put back straight again if the British economy is to survive. Women need tights that fit to go to work in!!!
The first page has face wash – £150 such good value, but the weird tights. Suppose it is the body shaming project or something, wonder if it is a 12 year old like lady in a corner? hope they bring back the models that used to work and the tights that fit real women.
Just noticed the fat and carb control tablets might look at them for slimming calendar.
If this worked like it used to I’d do a massive Boots own shop.
Hopefully Boots will be rectified soon and the models that worked.
