Sunday day in on a stormy British weekend/Spa day hair treatment/paradise hair

I live in Britain and it is a really depressing stormy weekend. Decided to switch my walking and spa days around which is actually a fitness trick that can break slimming plateaus.

Like some of the beauty products, some women have also been moaning about hair products with coconut in them.

Again this put me off trying a coconut hot oil product.

Decided to give it a try as my hair is so dry at the moment.

Paradise Hair

The night before your shampoo, rub some Vaseline between your fingers and coat all your hair in Vaseline. massage into the scalp and ends. Comb through. This helps you smooth out your hair and feel for dryness. Like your hair being a dry leaf and you are trying to put the moisture back in. Sleep on a pillowcase in case of any grease residue. I didn’t find it too bad surprisingly.

Next day prepare your spa hair day.

You will need vo5 coconut hot oil treatment – heat in the shower or leave in a bowl of hot water, (I use an old ikea tupperware bowl, filled with boiling water). Drop one of the oil containers in the bowl or heat up under the shower.

Note of caution

Only leave it on for 1 minute, it is not a conditioner, and use it before your shampoo

Rinse, dry & style your way.

I got this from Boots but I think it is well stocked and available in supermarkets

Once heated wet your hair and massage the heated oil everywhere you put the vaseline.

I used only half the container as I have fine hair, (guessing will still be able to use the other half of tube).

Then wash out immediately after 1 minute exactly.

Smells gorgeous, will have to finish the review in the morning when my hair has dried naturally – will be at the bottom of this blog.

Really sweet smell like the biscuits you used to get with marshmallows and coconut, just found some, and you can still get them.

Have to say if you are at the beginning of a weight loss journey these are just 53 calories.

Think a nutritionist might not recommend them, but if it gets the initial weight off, why not. You can do the dry January stuff when you are at the plateau stage. Good treats for treat day.

Felt like I was washing my hair in a Caribbean paradise.

Not sure if it was some of the hot oil left in, but the shampoo turned into a gorgeous frothy foam. Gave it a really good rinse to get all the foam out. Then I remembered the using cold water in your last rinse to seal the hair fibres.

Was really warm as I’d heated my room up again for a spa day, to make it like a sauna. The fragrance was gorgeous.

Next, I left on a conditioner.

I had saved up one from a hair dye as I find I don’t need all of the product with my hair being fine.

Had a loreal one fragranced with honey.

Coconut and honey smell like paradise together.

Rinsed it off with cold water, which felt refreshing in the heat.

The whole experience was lovely and took my mind off the storm.

If my hair looks like the women moaning about coconut products in the morning I will have to be honest and write it up tomorrow morning.

Also if it goes wrong it could be the mixture or the vaseline. Will finish this blog tomorrow.

I kind of hope it works because it smells good enough to eat.

Review

Finished ahead of schedule my hair dried fairly fast.

Really pleased.

My hair feels coated, which must be the vaseline, but is soft from washing. (apparently, some vaseline stays on). It is thicker, which could be the hot oil. My scalp isn’t as irritating which must be the sea Magik and is soft from the conditioner.

Noticed some new hair which may be because of the multivitamins I stopped taking, trying some different ones at the moment. ~Need to review my hair tablets with a view to it being rival companies making things up to sell their products. Not sure but wonder if this goes on? makes it confusing for the customer.

Smells like paradise.

Complaints

The main complaint is it highlighted where the brush had snapped off my hair so I sort of trimmed those ends. Want them the same length so they still need to grow out.

Conclusion

Highly recommend Paradise Hair. If you try the vaseline it is better to do it when you have nowhere to go the next day. Also, the first time you try it you might have to adjust it to suit you. Also, you might not like the results like the influencer I saw on YouTube. So give yourself space to play around with it.

Not sure if I would do this treatment all the time or if doing it all the time is a good idea anywhere.

It is a great spa day treatment if your hair and scalp are really dry.

The vaseline treatment is great for when your hair feels damaged from rubbish treatments like the rubbish brush.

I don’t know what I’m doing if I’m honest, so it is a matter of just trying these products out and experimenting.

Hope this helps.
