Discovered this look doesn’t suit my colouring as khaki is autumn, and the jacket doesn’t suit my body type, it almost does, except for the hips which are too big for me. Used to wear khaki a lot, so glad I discovered seasonal colours.

Khaki is Autumn – We used to wear it with burgundy lips and nails, which shows what we knew lol!!! Khaki matches brown better, just noticed these girls need a makeover too!!!

Film fashion is about getting ideas out of films, the main objective being that it suits us. Each season has a green, so it is about getting the right shade for you. There are a few shades of green in the uniform.

If you fit the jacket, but realise you aren’t Autumn, Balmain do other colours, so just get the jacket in your seasonal colour instead. If you’re not doing film fashion exactly just choose the colour you like.

Film fashion from last year

Found a dress I bought from Balmain last year, this is just a virtual shop. Decided to blog it for my body dysmorphia project as I have gone back to hating having my photograph taken and need to get used to having it taken again for my counseling project. Think I would do burgundy and gold makeup with this dress even if it isn’t accurate. Remember choosing this last year. Actually think I’ll experiment with makeup colours to match khaki. hopefully getting the technic makeup palette from Argos, (this was supposed to be my Boxing Day haul, but Christmas wasn’t that smooth for us this year), hoping to get it in the new year now instead. Used to get one of these from George every year.

Have to say I quite like this dress and Khaki, so would wear this. If it fits. It isn’t my colours, but suppose rules are for breaking sometimes. Might work with a tan as your seasonal colours change then? Lost some weight since this photograph. Got some pre-COVID camouflage shoes in storage – the glue melted on them and they sort of sweated? not sure what has happened? I keep cleaning them, as not sure when fashion that fits is coming back?

I’ve got this top still as well I think, it doesn’t really fit me properly like a lot of women were saying. It was the last dress shop to go before the fat revolt, so had to shop there. Wonder if it is for a small waist? which I haven’t got.

Found this green, that suits winter so will give this one a try.

It is really short, so it really doesn’t go with jeans because of camel toe. I’d wear this with a skirt like in Carry on England or a dress. It looks too small on her, it is too short, should come down further?

It has a better selection of colours than Balmain?

It is obviously not going to be the same quality, but it is a good way of trying out Balmain and seeing if it fits or suits your body type. Or if you like the style but don’t want to pay Balmain prices.

The fashion doesn’t suit my seasonal colours, but I have worn army and navy clothes whilst at art college like a lot of students do, that is more the 70’s take like in Bless this House the movie. Mind you I wore that because it was really affordable. Looking forward to getting my Balmain clothes collection and adding to it every year.
