Not hard to christmas feng shui this year as I haven’t received much this year/pretty boring really. Usually, this time of year would be shopping like mad. Remember one year they announced the broccoli aisle had been re-stocked at Sainsbury’s and there were cheers around the store.
This year I cleared out a shelf in the fridge door and it is housing most of our Christmas 70’s packet food, as there are only 2 of us.
Sort of bleak, but sort of a relief that these vintage foods are still stocked and available to purchase, it is also so simple compared to pre covid Christmas dinner shopping.
Also a relief we now have TV and entertainment sorted.
Hopefully, I’ll get some songs on the guitar if I’m lucky.
If this blog takes off am hoping to do songs around the campfire on our campervan journeys. With jacket potatoes and hot dogs. Unless it is like in Nuts in May where you can’t have a bonfire?
Bit mean as that is part of the point of campervanning?
Nuts in May Play blog

Vegan versus mod fight because they don’t want sausages on the campfire
Lol!!!
Need to start sourcing campsites that host campervans and check if they allow bonfires, although technically with a campervan you don’t really need a bonfire.
If you are not in the mood for Christmas, I totally get where you are coming from. The 70’s Christmas is really easy to do and there is still time for you to get the stuff to do, ‘a nostalgic Christmas’ on Saphire Pinterest TV. Just check out the blog below for how to do it and what to purchase. Then just turn up on the 23 December for TV and parties.
Make sure you have a turkey tin, carving knife, wine glasses, gin glasses, brandy glasses, and so forth.
Get them ready for the big day you probably aren’t in the mood for, then when you see how easy it was to prepare, you can just have a good feed and sit back and get drunk.

You know you want to really!!!
‘remember to say you have beautiful lips next time you put your lipstick on’
Beverly on midweek Christmas 70’s party night.
Get your gin, light ale, and 70’s party snacks in ready.
(No stockings for Santa this year!!!)
At least you can say you had Christmas 2023 then.
Finishing off this year’s spa creams
last-minute shopping
With the end of the year, comes a collection of empties.
If you haven’t received any presents yet why not try Argos.
We need to get a carving knife. I can carve with a plastic knife, but a proper one would make it easier.
Trying yet again for a foot spa.
Really recommend Argos manicure sets and Jewellery
Have a browse, they are usually really good for getting things.
I just order one thing during post-COVID times to make it easier. Mind you I always used to just get one thing from Argos anyway.
Some of the stuff is a bit weird at Argos still so I put the links to manicure and foot spas for you, so you can avoid any weirdness and get straight through to a treat. They are famous brands that precede COVID, so are good quality and accessible like the 70’s packet food.
click the links below and treat yourself.

Worth a try anyway.
I opted for the foot spa.
Argos manicure stuff is usually really good.
Hope I’m helping you get in the holiday spirit!!!
Have loaded up quite a bit of entertainment for you, but as far as I know, there might be something on mainstream TV this year.
We don’t have digital T.V. so will be doing Saphire Pinterest TV
Will load the parties up on Tumbler as it is easier to access.
Saphire Tumbler address
tumblr.com/blog/saphireblacksworld
Saphre link tree address
The TV will be on Pinterest so you can choose what you fancy to watch each day.
a nostalgic Christmas preview – going live on 23 December 2023

Just add whatever Christmas food and tipples you manage to get for each day!!!
We will enjoy ourselves won’t we!!!
Conclusion
Sorry about any hardcore sarcasm, but am having to push myself as quite disappointed with this year if I’m honest.
Once we get into the new year the shops are going to have to start selling products people want. When you rely on your business to pay for your livelihood you have to make a profit. The not making profit trend will surely have to change? Some people do actually get shops just for a hobby, but the majority have to make ends meet and some even have staff to pay.
Would have bought Paxo, Aunt Bessies, Bisto Gravy, and Gordon’s gin anyway, but usually we buy a lot more, that money could have gone to supporting new business. There is a sort of missing link somewhere? It is like being Scrooge by default.
I’m just doing fashion blogging for a bit of fun but would like to get the products to go with my film blogs
Obvious business start-up for 2024
As most women aren’t willing to purchase the clothes that make Miss Kitty look like a dog? think I’m starting to get what is going on in post covid.

A lot of Miss Kities need clothes that fit properly, erm not being funny, but that means you could potentially make a lot of money if you set up a dress shop selling clothes for them.
I’d purchase them for my blog, which would be some free advertising. Then all the other Miss Kitties would blog and Pinterest what they bought.
Not rocket science if you are a good designer.
Three dress shops open up on a high street. One is a shop that makes Miss Kitty look pretty, one makes her wear glasses she doesn’t suit and dresses to purposefully make her apple shape look fat, and the other is such small fitting it is too small for even a ballet-dancing teenager.
Which shop goes into profit and gets repeat business?
Why make Miss Kitty your enemy?
Bit daft business-wise.
just saying.
Christmas film blogging
If you get bored over the Christmas season, will be blogging some of the film fashion, hopefully, as we go into the new year vendors will start sending out their products or the post will start working, not sure what is going on there?
Got really into it now and have always been a fidget type who can’t sit still.
Just hope next year is a bit more generous!!!
onwards and upwards!!!
