Skin republic

Have to say I was both frightened and confused about certain skin products during COVID-19 because of certain women giving out misinformation.

Now covid is over I have got back into my spa routine and am using all the controversial ingredients with no problems at all.

Although some products still on the market aren’t very good quality. Starting to wonder if it is, the same problem as the vast amount of different candle brands we have been getting. Used to sell handmade candles. Making a profit from candles is really hard. Worked it out eventually and used to sell a friend’s candles for him without taking a commission. It is very expensive to purchase wax and perfumes, wondering if the problem is some sort of amateur movement that has somehow infiltrated quality control. That is just as sad for the people trading if that is the case.

Making couture headbands that are tight to the head of only one person, doesn’t work on that person or anyone else, then using flimsy waffle fabric, unlined doesn’t work, maybe as a one-off purchase, but it won’t create repeat business. We learned how to self-critique our own work at University, maybe this isn’t being taught anymore?

Hopefully, this problem will be rectified soon, especially if people have invested or bought into it?

I personally am just a consumer who enjoys sharing what I purchase, hopefully now that COVID is fizzling out, everything will be quality-controlled again and we as consumers won’t be confused or moaning, just happy shoppers and bloggers.
