Really sorry to write this, but instead of getting upset I would rather be positive and get my head around it.
Maybe a miracle will happen and we will all get Christmas.
But for one day it is not worth getting upset.
Coming from someone who used to have 3 weeks of Christmas every year, can’t believe I’m saying it.
Last year I seemed to upset someone by doing a 4-mile power walk on Christmas day, but what else do you do if you are a vivacious person forced to not have a Christmas dress, Christmas presents, Christmas dinner, and so forth?
As opposed to upsetting people, I was trying to help people like me who can’t have Christmas due to no fault of their own.
I was just trying to be positive and reach zen instead of sitting about moping.
As I haven’t a sweet tooth stopped doing the food and drinking all day thing a few years back.
I am not leading people to have zenmas instead of Christmas, (If I could get the things I ordered I would be doing Christmas).
But due to post-COVID 19 restrictions, hardly anything I order ever turns up?
Zenmas is for people like me who order Christmas, but post-COVID blocks their orders.
If you are left with loads of energy for Christmas, but no products, Zenmas means you can survive it and actually come through Christmas healthier than ever.
If a Christmas miracle happens, (cutting it fine if it does), will still do zenmas as well as have got an idea.

If you join in you will be surprised how busy it is out there during Christmas. Not everyone is trapped in the house with relatives getting drunk and dining on turkey, pies, and cakes. In fact, it annoyed us a bit as we thought we would get the beach to ourselves, instead of irresponsible pet owners letting their dogs run riot illegally in dog leash-restricted areas, or stealing people’s barbecued sausage. You can’t really do picnics outside in Britain anymore as so many people can’t control their dogs. Think this is why the keep your dog on a leash sign exists.

You have to do the picnic in your car to avoid mad out-of-control dogs and people. They upset proper dog owners also. Hopefully, these types will be at home getting drunk and dining on vegan pies and pizza, unless they are lucky and get a turkey, highly unlikely due to post covid 19 restrictions. Wonder if they don’t feed their dogs properly either, know how they feel, we struggle to get food also, maybe that is why it made for the sausages. Probably won’t want barbecued vegan sausage so won’t be destroying that picnic.

To be honest I don’t really know what it means, just summed up how I felt last year. Sitting here with money to spend for Christmas, but nobody seems to want to take it? Have you thought about what Zenmas actually is?

To me heaven is actually getting away from all the family arguments and rich food I can’t digest.
As Christmas is a holiday, Zenmas is about making those 2 – 3 weeks your personal heaven.
My heavenly part of Christmas is the presents, like gifting and receiving. Also, Christmas shopping, getting my hair done, meeting old friends, making Christmas food I can digest, (turkey vegetables and potatoes are actually really healthy, it was cooking it in lard that made it unhealthy, remember to use olive oil instead of lard), and getting loads of fresh air in. Coming out of the most wonderful time of the year healthy and not with indigestion or weight gain. As a film lover, it used to be my time of year to snuggle up in bed with back-to-back films as it snowed outside the window. (luckily You tube has solved that problem as I get my films there now instead of mainstream TV, which is mainly ballroom dancing and amateur talent contests, which I have no interest in.
Your idea of Zenmass might be the rich food, as you may be fine digesting it all. You may hate the commercial side of it and like the religious side. If money is your problem, Zenmass is about getting the money to pay for it all.
You might not be Christian and not do Christmas. Have to say no one tells British people this so I have no idea if this is awful for non-christians in Britain. Be interesting if your idea of Zenmas meets mine somewhere.
Zenmas in the Caribbean, or somewhere else warm. Must admit have contemplated that idea a few times. If the holidays come back, I wouldn’t mind trying that idea. We aren’t supposed to go on holiday anymore though because of post-COVID-19 restrictions. I don’t think? Suppose it would be hard to get your head around Christmas without snow?
At the moment. for the first time in my life money isn’t a problem but I can’t spend any of it.

wonder if this reflects on the covid COVID-19 Grinch and why they won’t let certain built women have a Christmas dress that fits them or a turkey dinner? has someone hurt them and they are taking it out on the masses?
Not being funny but looking on the bright side has worn thin now, like my pre-COVID leggings.
Not sure what the answer to this is, just that a few words aren’t really enough to make covid 19 Christmas, pre- covid, COVID, and post covid 19 all right.
Think even the people lying about it being alright and making the best of having a family will come to their senses soon and realise it is not just Christmas the Grinch has stolen, and not even just one year, at least 3 now. Whoever he is he still couldn’t care less. The Grinch was an irresponsible dog owner as well.

This year is like a traditional Victorian Christmas, the mass body size of women and men can’t get clothes that fit, so have been reduced to walking around in rags like Victorian street urchins.
Whoever is at the top, doing this to everyone is keeping all the meat to themselves so the masses have been reduced to drinking chicken stock as real chickens have been stolen by weird vegans who have rescued them from the food chain, I’m not sure if that is legal? also not convinced anyone really is a vegan, tried it once was awful. Not sustainable. Maybe they are stealing the chickens and eating them.
While they are stuffing themselves on Christmas day, everyone else will be sewing up the holes in their old pre-COVID rags. maybe crying, drinking chicken stock, wondering if the ‘end of the world is nigh nutter’, is actually right.
Saw someone saying the end of the world is nigh on Instagram the other day. Maybe they have a point? Instead of people lying about everything being all right, in stupid clothes that obviously don’t fit them, the penny might drop that something isn’t right and it actually could be the end of the world. Have to say there is nothing much to live for except the hope it isn’t the end of the world and the manufacture of clothes for the masses will come back soon.

If this is true, we can take solace in the fact life on this miserable cruel planet isn’t eternal and in the resurrection we are good true, honest people.
Whoever is denying us food, clothing, happiness anything which would give us zen on earth, may pay the same price as Marley for not sharing what they have.
Have a strong faith in these metaphysical beliefs, so tend to watch Scrooge every year.
My belief is shops should sell clothes that fit all body sizes, so it isn’t like Victorian times and we can all be clothed, especially in British winter. Think Dickens would agree with this and he would put on a turkey dinner for us all.
Laughing at people with hip aches as they have to wear stomach control leggings for people smaller than them, then it controls their hips instead? wasn’t funny to start with, but has now gone beyond a joke? After having a breakdown from post covid 19 leggings last year, have given up trying with them. Someone lied to us yesterday saying there were some new clothes sizes. It was a complete lie. They were the same odd sizes. They went straight into the feng shui bin. If we are supposed to be more careful with clothes why don’t they sell us clothes that fit, then we wouldn’t have to throw the useless ones away. I wouldn’t have even bought them, someone got them for me. Shame because I bought some George ones that were like pre-COVID-19 suit trousers and good quality for the price. Had to throw them away as they were tummy trainers for 4 ft 11? so started hurting my hips. To be honest, this problem isn’t rocket science, why can’t whoever is making them make sure there are ones that fit everyone?

Where is the charity and benevolence in post-COVID-19 fashion and food?
Must admit I feel sorry for old people of similar build to me going through post-COVID-19. They may not be strong enough to sew up old pre covid 19 clothes. Instead of making a spirit chain, couldn’t someone take pity on the mass size of women and men in Britain and get some clothes for them that fit.
They probably still won’t be the best, but they could enjoy Christmas and have some clothes that fit properly. It would give them hope that the end of the world wasn’t nigh.
I studied Victorian History at university. The conditions of mills improved after the satanic mills, but wherever sustainable fashion comes from is possibly not very good conditions. The quality of it is rubbish. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell that rubbish quality nylon and jersey haven’t come from a mill of the same standard as pre covid 19. It is therefore not sustainable. Nylon is not 100 percent cotton either?

Maybe I can take solace in being an enlightened person. If you feel as frightened and worried as me about the world in 2023, realize you too are already an enlightened being.
That is easier than I realized.
Zen is for everyone then and it is just belief.
If only the COVID-19 Grinch would read this blog and change its mean ways in time for everyone to have Christmas and a future.
Hopefully, Zenmas might give you some comfort in these cold miserable times. Anyone wearing clothes that don’t fit them properly and pretending everything is all right, is probably as frightened as you but isn’t confident enough to admit it or they will be called shy.

Wouldn’t try and get the amount of picnic stuff they have at the moment in post covid 19 britain as it is so stressful trying to get anything these days.
