The wedding dress is worn as a party dress, with a shawl, bridal bag, and platform shoes
Wonder if women had a problem getting clothes in the 70’s. Think I may be on to something here.
Not sure about dressing as a bride, but the same white dress on Ever pretty comes up as a dress, bridesmaid dress, and wedding dress when you put in a search for a white long-sleeved dress.
If you are thinking of getting married, these dresses are really reasonably priced. Depends on what you are looking for I suppose.
Not sure what these will be, but thought it was a bit of fun, guess they may not be white, but the idea is still there whatever colour, going to a party in a long wedding-type dress.

This isn’t low cut, (like the one in the program), so you need to order it by bust size or you won’t be able to breathe. It possibly needs hemming if it is this long as it goes down to the floor, guess it is a generic length and you are expected to hem it. It is so plain and simple think you could actually get away with this as a summer evening dress. You could embellish it and wear jewellery to disguise what it is.

This looks more like the one in the film. To be honest, I would wear this to a party, but you would be really uncomfortable in this as a bride. If you take the veil off it is just a white dress, it really needs hemming. If you took it in up the sides wouldn’t look as flared.
If this has a ballerina’s waist and is mis-sold, at least you are getting quite a lot of fabric. Could maybe make some dresses out of the skirt. I ordered a really large size so the waist should fit. In fact the larger the size you order the more fabric you get. It seems to be the same price the larger the dress gets.

They make it custom if you give them your measurements.
At the end of the day, these dresses are so cheap if they aren’t right you could wear them in the garden, in bed as a nightdress, on the beach as a cover-up, and so forth.
This idea is actually really good.
They just need to make them better quality and in styles that suit genetics rather than fashion.
The white shawl
Quite like that, this looks cheap and thin, rather than bulky and expensively made out of wool.
Again if it looks like you are going to a fancy dress party as a bride when you wear it with the dress, it would come in as a beach cover-up and easily pack in a bag if you are going for an evening meal on holiday and think it might get chilly later on.

This is nice to wear for a night out with friends or family. A bit jazzy for work, maybe the office party.
Conclusion
Have to say found this TV fashion really hard. Really enjoyed looking for it though. Such unusual ideas. Quite pleased with what I found. The wedding dress idea is almost ridiculous, but I think it might work.
Love the shoes, luckily 70’s platforms are on trend at the moment.
Love the rings and collector boxes.
Really pleased with the evening bags. Had to give up on wedding bags as nothing was similar to the one she has.
Opted for the ones at River Island because they look elegant and embellished.
The lurex top was impossible, but found a few tops that look suitable for wearing to work. Think they are quite stylish. Great for a night out with friends.
